A. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT) in position.

WARNING: BEFORE YOU START WORK, YOU MUST PUT ON A SAFETY HARNESS AND ATTACH IT TO THE ACCESS PLATFORM. WITHOUT A SAFETY HARNESS, YOU CAN FALL. THIS CAN KILL YOU OR CAUSE YOU INJURY.

(2) Put on and attach the HARNESS, SAFETY before you start work in the work area.
(3) Remove access covers 533AL, 533AR, 533AT, 533DB, 633AL, 633AR, 633AT and 633DB (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-000-001).
(4) Remove flap track fairings 533AB, 533BB, 533CB, 633AB, 633BB and 633CB (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-000-001).

A. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT) in position.

(3) Remove access covers 533AL, 533AR, 533AT, 533DB, 533FB, 633AL, 633AR, 633AT, 633DB and 633FB (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-000-004).
(4) Remove flap track fairings 533CB, 533EB, 633CB and 633EB (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-000-004).

(1) Fully extend the flaps (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-008).

(1) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flight controls.

4. Procedure

A. Inspection

Flap Track No. 4 and Fairings ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Do a general visual inspection of flap track no. 4 and the related fairings.
(2) Make sure that there are no signs of corrosion, cracks or damage on all the parts of the components and the structure that you can see.
(3) Make sure that all the installations (wiring) are correctly attached.

5. Close-up

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Fully retract the flaps (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-009).

B. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install flap track fairings 533AB, 533BB, 533CB, 633AB, 633BB and 633CB (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-400-001).
(3) Install access covers 533AL, 533AR, 533AT, 533DB, 633AL, 633AR, 633AT and 633DB (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-400-001).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).

B. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install flap track fairings 533CB, 533EB, 633CB and 633EB (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-400-004).
(3) Install access covers 533AL, 533AR, 533AT, 533DB, 533FB, 633AL, 633AR, 633AT, 633DB and 633FB (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-400-004).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).

C. Put the Aircraft back to its Initial Configuration

(1) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(2) Remove all the fixtures, tools, test and support equipment used during this procedure.
