NOTE: This is an EWIS (Electrical Wiring Interconnection System) procedure. EWIS is defined in ESPM 20-33-11.

3. Job Set-up
Subtask 05-23-20-010-057-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 12M (40 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position at zone 320.

WARNING: BEFORE YOU START WORK, YOU MUST PUT ON A SAFETY HARNESS AND ATTACH IT TO THE ACCESS PLATFORM. WITHOUT A SAFETY HARNESS, YOU CAN FALL. THIS CAN KILL YOU OR CAUSE YOU INJURY.

(2) Put on and attach the HARNESS, SAFETY before you start work in the work area.
(3) Remove access panels 325AL and 325AR (Ref. AMM TASK 53-55-12-000-001).
(4) Open and safety access panels 325BL, 325BR, 325CL, 325CR and 325DL (Ref. AMM TASK 55-33-13-010-002).
(5) Remove access panels 325DR, 325EL and 325ER (Ref. AMM TASK 55-33-13-010-002).
(6) Remove access panel 326AT (Ref. AMM TASK 55-44-11-000-001).
(7) Remove and discard the aluminum foil from the lightening holes in the front spar.

Subtask 05-23-20-010-057-E ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 12M (40 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position at zone 320.

WARNING: BEFORE YOU START WORK, YOU MUST PUT ON A SAFETY HARNESS AND ATTACH IT TO THE ACCESS PLATFORM. WITHOUT A SAFETY HARNESS, YOU CAN FALL. THIS CAN KILL YOU OR CAUSE YOU INJURY.

(2) Put on and attach the HARNESS, SAFETY before you start work in the work area.
(3) Remove access panels 325AL and 325AR (Ref. AMM TASK 53-55-12-000-001)
(4) Open and safety access panels 325BL, 325BR, 325CL, 325CR and 325DL (Ref. AMM TASK 55-33-13-010-002).
(5) Remove access panels 325EL, 325ER, 325FR and 325GR (Ref. AMM TASK 55-33-13-010-002).
(6) Remove access panel 326AT (Ref. AMM TASK 55-44-11-000-001).
(7) Remove and discard the aluminum foil from the lightening holes in the front spar.

4. Procedure
Subtask 05-23-20-210-057-A

A. Inspection

Rudder Area

(1) Do a general visual inspection of the rudder (zone 326).
(2) Make sure that:

There is no damage (corrosion, leaks or cracks) on all the parts of the components and the structure that you can see.

All the installations (wiring, piping and ducting) are correctly attached.

5. Close-up
Subtask 05-23-20-410-057-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Cut and install Adhesive Film Tape-- Aluminium Foil - (Material No.05RAB9) on the lightening holes of the front spar.
(3) Install access panel 326AT (Ref. AMM TASK 55-44-11-400-001).
(4) Close access panels 325BL, 325BR, 325CL, 325CR and 325DL (Ref. AMM TASK 55-33-13-410-002).
(5) Install access panels 325DR, 325EL and 325ER (Ref. AMM TASK 55-33-13-410-002).
(6) Install access panels 325AL and 325AR (Ref. AMM TASK 53-55-12-400-001).
(7) Remove the access platform(s).

Subtask 05-23-20-410-057-E ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Cut and install Adhesive Film Tape-- Aluminium Foil - (Material No.05RAB9) on the lightening holes of the front spar.
(3) Install access panel 326AT (Ref. AMM TASK 55-44-11-400-001).
(4) Close access panels 325BL, 325BR, 325CL, 325CR and 325DL (Ref. AMM TASK 55-33-13-410-002).
(5) Install access panels 325EL, 325ER, 325FR and 325GR (Ref. AMM TASK 55-33-13-410-002).
(6) Install access panels 325AL and 325AR (Ref. AMM TASK 53-55-12-400-001).
(7) Remove the access platform(s).

B. Remove all the fixtures, tools, test and support equipment used during this procedure.
