C. Get Access
(1) Put the rudder pedals in the neutral position.
(2) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flight controls.
(3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 12M (40 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position below zone 325.

A. Opening and Removal of the Trailing Edge Access-Panels of the Vertical Stabilizer
(b) Carefully open the trailing edge access-panel (1).
(c) Remove the quick-release pin (14) from the hole (13) of the lever assembly (11).
(d) Align the hole (12) of the trailing edge access-panel (1) with the hole (13) of the lever assembly (11).
(e) Install the quick-release pin (14) through the two holes (12) and (13).
(b) Remove the trailing edge access-panel (1).
Subtask 55-33-13-020-051-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL NOTE: The vertical-stabilizer trailing-edge access-panels (1) are referred to in this procedure as "trailing edge access-panels” (1).
(1) Open trailing edge access-panels 325BL, 325BR, 325CL, 325CR and 325DL (1):NOTE: The opening procedure is given for one trailing edge access-panel (1). The opening procedure for the other trailing edge access-panels (1) is almost the same.
(a) Release the applicable studs (2), (3) and (4).(b) Carefully open the trailing edge access-panel (1).
(c) Remove the quick-release pin (14) from the hole (13) of the lever assembly (11).
(d) Align the hole (12) of the trailing edge access-panel (1) with the hole (13) of the lever assembly (11).
(e) Install the quick-release pin (14) through the two holes (12) and (13).
CAUTION:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL THESE ACCESS PANELS. IF YOU LET THEM FALL, DAMAGE CAN OCCUR TO THEM OR TO THE AIRCRAFT STRUCTURE.
(2) Remove trailing edge access-panels 325EL, 325ER and 325DR (1):NOTE: The removal procedure is given for one trailing edge access-panel (1). The removal procedure for the other trailing edge access-panels (1) is almost the same.
(a) Remove the studs (2), (3), (4), (5), (6) and (8), and, if applicable, the studs (7), (9) and (10).(b) Remove the trailing edge access-panel (1).

(b) Carefully open the trailing edge access-panel (1).
(c) Remove the quick-release pin (12) from the hole (11) of the lever assembly (9).

(e) Install the quick-release pin (12) through the two holes (10) and (11).

(a) Release the applicable quick-release fasteners (2) and (3), and, if applicable, the quick-release fasteners (4).(b) Carefully open the trailing edge access-panel (1).
(c) Remove the quick-release pin (12) from the hole (11) of the lever assembly (9).
(d) Align the hole (10) of the trailing edge access-panel (1) with the hole (11) of the lever assembly (9).
(e) Install the quick-release pin (12) through the two holes (10) and (11).
CAUTION:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL THESE ACCESS PANELS. IF YOU LET THEM FALL, DAMAGE CAN OCCUR TO THEM OR TO THE AIRCRAFT STRUCTURE.
(2) Remove trailing edge access-panels 325EL, 325ER, 325FR and 325GR (1):NOTE: The removal procedure is given for one trailing edge access-panel (1). The removal procedure for the other trailing edge access-panels (1) is almost the same.
(a) Remove the screws (5), (7) and (8), and, if applicable, the screws (6).(b) Remove the trailing edge access-panel (1).

(b) Carefully open the trailing edge access-panel (1).
(c) Remove the quick-release pin (11) from the hole (10) of the lever assembly (8).
(d) Align the hole (9) of the trailing edge access-panel (1) with the hole (10) of the lever assembly (8).
(e) Install the quick-release pin (11) through the two holes (9) and (10).
(b) Remove the trailing edge access-panel (1).
