3. Job Set-up
Subtask 05-22-60-010-052-A

A. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position at zone 832 (842).
(2) Open AFT passenger/crew door 832 (842) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
(3) Remove the galleys and lavatories between FR64 and FR70, if installed.
To do this, refer to the para. Component Location in the applicable ATA 25 Description/Operation: for the galleys (Ref. AMM D/O 25-33-00-00), for the lavatories (Ref. AMM D/O 25-43-00-00). In this paragraph, you will find the cross-references of the removal/installation tasks.
(4) Remove the overhead stowage compartments, if installed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-24-41-000-001).
(5) Remove the ceiling panels from FR64 to FR70
(Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-42-000-002).
(6) Lift the insulation blankets sufficiently to do the inspection.

4. Procedure
Subtask 05-22-60-210-052-A

A. Do a general visual inspection of the aft-cabin overhead compartment.
Make sure that:

There is no damage (corrosion, leaks or cracks) on all the parts of the components and the structure that you can see.
All the installations (wiring, piping or ducting) are attached correctly.

5. Close-up
Subtask 05-22-60-410-052-A

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Put the insulation blankets back in position.
(3) Install the ceiling panels from FR64 to FR70
(Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-42-400-002).
(4) Install the overhead stowage compartments, if removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-24-41-400-001).
(5) Install the galleys and lavatories between FR64 and FR70, if removed.
To do this, refer to the para. Component Location in the applicable ATA 25 Description/Operation: for the galleys (Ref. AMM D/O 25-33-00-00), for the lavatories (Ref. AMM D/O 25-43-00-00). In this paragraph, you will find the cross-references of the removal/installation tasks.
(6) Close AFT passenger/crew door 832 (842) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
(7) Remove the access platform(s).
