Subtask 27-00-00-710-050-A
A. Test
   (1) Do a check for a maintenance mesage related to the warning message on the Post Flight Report (PFR).
NOTE: Some operational warnings are not printed on the PFR.
They are for flight crew awareness only (for example, F/CTL SPD BRK DISGREE, F/CTL SPD BRK STILL OUT).
     (a) If there is a maintenance message:
  • Do the related trouble shooting procedure.
     (b) If there is no maintenance message:
       1 Do the BITE test of the EFCS (ground scanning) AMM 27-96-00-740-001.
         a If there is a maintenance message:
  • Do the related trouble shooting procedure.
         b If there is no maintenance message:
  • Continue this trouble shooting procedure.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 27-00-00-810-050-A
A. If a warning is shown and if the BITE test of the EFCS (ground scanning) does not give a maintenace message related to the warning message:
   (1) Remove the FCDC-1 ( 3CE1 ) AMM 27-95-34-000-001.
     (a) If the warning stays into view:
       1 Install the FCDC-1 ( 3CE1 ) AMM 27-95-34-400-001.
       2 Continue this trouble shooting procedure.
     (b) If the warning goes out off view:
       1 Replace the FCDC-1 [3CE1] AMM 27-95-34-000-001 AMM 27-95-34-400-001.
   (2) Remove the FCDC-2 ( 3CE2 ) AMM 27-95-34-000-001.
     (a) If the warning stays into view:
       1 Install the FCDC-2 ( 3CE2 ) AMM 27-95-34-400-001.
       2 Continue this trouble shooting procedure.
     (b) If the warning goes out off view:
       1 Replace the FCDC-2 [3CE2] FCDC-2 ( 3CE2 ) AMM 27-95-34-000-001 AMM 27-95-34-400-001.
   (3) If the warning F/CTL SPD BRK DISAGREE or F/CTL SPD BRK STILL OUT appeared during the last flight with no maintenance message associated, and it is not present on ground:
  • No action is necessary.
   (4) If the maintenance status F/CTL is shown:
  • Do a check of the P/N of the FCDC installed on the A/C:
     (a) If the P/N of the FCDC is 115370-0105 or 115370-0106 or 115370-1016 or 115370-1216:
       1 Do the trouble shooting procedure (Ref. TSM TASK 27-10-00-810-822) (because of TFU Ref 27.95.00.033).
     (b) If the P/N of the FCDC is different from 115370-0105 or 115370-0106 or 115370-1016 or 115370-1216:
  • Do a check of the wiring from the DSI 24 signal of the SEC1 (1CE1) to the first terminal block COM part and MON part ASM 279412.
       1 If there is no continuity, repair the wiring.
       2 If there is continuity:
  • Do a check and repair the wiring from the overriding signal of the THS actuator (9CE) to the first terminal block ASM 279412.
   (5) If the warning message F/CTL ELAC1 PITCH FAULT or F/CTL ELAC2 PITCH FAULT is shown with no maintenance message associated:
Pressurize the aircraft hydraulic systems AMM 29-10-00-863-003 AMM 29-23-00-863-001 AMM 29-24-00-863-001.
     (a) If the warning message F/CTL ELAC1 PITCH FAULT or F/CTL ELAC2 PITCH FAULT stays into view:
     (b) If the warning message F/CTL ELAC1 PITCH FAULT or F/CTL ELAC2 PITCH FAULT goes out of view:
       1 If the test gives a maintenance message related to the Yellow, Green or Blue hydraulic pressure switch with a F/CTL maintenance status:
  • Do the trouble shooting procedure related to this maintenance message.
       2 If the test does not give a maintenance message:
         a If the fault continues:
         b If the fault continues:
         c If the fault continues:
         d If the fault continues:
         e If the fault continues:
  • Do a check of the wiring from the FWC 1 to the pressure switch 1151GN ASM 293201.
         f If the fault continues:
  • Do a check of the wiring from the FWC 1 to the pressure switch 2151GN ASM 293201.
         g If the fault continues:
  • Do a check of the wiring from the FWC 1 to the pressure switch 3151GN ASM 293201.
   (6) If the operational warning message CONFIG L SIDESTICK FAULT or CONFIG R SIDESTICK FAULT is shown:
Do the operational test of the side stick priority AMM 27-96-00-710-003.
     (a) If the result of the test is not satisfactory:
       1 Do the identification of the side-stick installed on the aircraft, refer to the procedure AMM 27-92-41-860-801.
         a If the side-stick installed on the aircraft is not a new-generation side-stick:
         b If the side-stick installed on the aircraft is a new-generation side-stick:
   (7) If the warning message F/CTL AIL SERVO FAULT is shown with no maintenance message associated:
     (a) Do the trouble shooting procedure (Ref. TSM TASK 27-93-00-810-937).
   (8) If the warning message F/CTL ELAC 1 FAULT and F/CTL ELAC 2 FAULT are shown with no maintenance message associated:
     (a) Pressurize the aircraft hydraulic systems AMM 29-10-00-863-003 AMM 29-23-00-863-001 AMM 29-24-00-863-001.
       1 If the warning message F/CTL ELAC 1 FAULT and F/CTL ELAC 2 FAULT go out of view when the hydraulic systems are pressurized, do the trouble shooting procedure (Ref. TSM TASK 27-93-00-810-948).
   (9) If the warning message F/CTL ELAC 1 FAULT is shown with no maintenance message associated:
     (a) Pressurize the aircraft hydraulic systems AMM 29-10-00-863-003 AMM 29-23-00-863-001 AMM 29-24-00-863-001.
       1 If the F/CTL ELAC 1 FAULT warning goes out view when the hydraulic systems are pressurized, do the trouble shooting procedure (Ref. TSM TASK 27-93-00-810-947).
       2 If the ELAC 1 FAULT warning stays into view:
  • Continue this trouble shooting.
     (b) Remove the ELAC-1 (2CE1) AMM 27-93-34-000-001.
     (c) At the ELAC 1 receptacle, do a check of the resistance between pin AB/11J and pin AE/14C ASM 279203.
       1 If the resistance is less than 280 ohms:
         a Remove the RELAY-ELAC 1 ANN SPLY (40CE1) AIPC 27920803.
         b Do a check of the resistance of the relay between pin X1 and pin X2 ASM 279203.
  • If the resistance is less than 280 ohms:
    . Replace the RELAY-ELAC 1 ANN SPLY [40CE1] AIPC 27920803.
    . Install a new ELAC-1 [2CE1] AMM 27-93-34-400-001.
  • If the resistance is between 280 and 400 ohms:
    . Do a check and repair the wiring of the RLY ELAC FAULT signal from the relay to the ELAC 1 ASM 279203
    . Install the relay.
    . Install a new ELAC-1 (2CE1) AMM 27-93-34-400-001.
       2 If the resistance is more than 400 ohms:
         a Remove the RELAY-ELAC 1 ANN SPLY (40CE1) AIPC 27920803.
         b Do a check of the resistance of the relay between pin X1 and pin X2 ASM 279203.
  • If the resistance is more than 400 ohms:
    . Replace the RELAY-ELAC 1 ANN SPLY (40CE1) AIPC 27920803.
    . Install the ELAC-1 (2CE1) AMM 27-93-34-400-001.
  • If the resistance is between 280 and 400 ohms:
  • Do a check and repair the wiring of the RLY ELAC FAULT signal from the relay to the ELAC 1 ASM 279203
    . Install the relay.
    . Install the ELAC 1 AMM 27-93-34-400-001.
       3 If the resistance is between 280 and 400 ohms:
         a Remove the RELAY-ELAC 1 ANN SPLY (40CE1) AIPC 27920803.
  • If the warning ELAC1 stays:
    . Install the RLY-ELAC 1 ANN SPLY (40CE1) AIPC 27920803.
    . Continue the trouble shooting procedure.
  • If the warning ELAC1 goes off:
    . Replace the RLY-ELAC 1 ANN SPLY (40CE1) AIPC 27920803.
    . Install the ELAC 1 AMM 27-93-34-400-001.
         b Do a check and repair the wiring of the DSI 4/1 (ELAC1 FAILED) signals from the FCDC1 (3CE1) and the FCDC2 (3CE2) to the RLY-ELAC 1 ANN SPLY (40CE1) ASM 279504 and ASM 279505.
   (10) If the warning message F/CTL ELAC 2 FAULT is shown with no maintenance message associated:
     (a) Pressurize the aircraft hydraulic systems AMM 29-10-00-863-003 AMM 29-23-00-863-001 AMM 29-24-00-863-001.
       1 If the F/CTL ELAC 2 FAULT warning goes out of view when the hydraulic systems are pressurized, do the trouble shooting procedure (Ref. TSM TASK 27-93-00-810-947).
       2 If the ELAC 2 FAULT warning stays into view:
  • Continue this trouble shooting.
     (b) Remove the ELAC-2 (2CE2) AMM 27-93-34-000-001.
     (c) At the ELAC 2 receptacle, do a check of the resistance between pin AB/11J and pin AE/14C ASM 279203.
       1 If the resistance is less than 280 ohms:
         a Remove the RELAY-ELAC 2 ANN SPLY (40CE2) AIPC 27920803.
         b Do a check of the resistance of the relay between pin X1 and pin X2 ASM 279203.
  • If the resistance is less than 280 ohms:
    . Replace the RELAY-ELAC 2 ANN SPLY [40CE2] AIPC 27920803.
    . Install a new ELAC-2 [2CE2] AMM 27-93-34-400-001.
  • If the resistance is between 280 and 400 ohms:
    . Do a check and repair the wiring of the RLY ELAC FAULT signal from the relay to the ELAC 2 ASM 279203
    . Install the relay.
    . Install a new ELAC-2 (2CE2) AMM 27-93-34-400-001.
       2 If the resistance is more than 400 ohms:
         a Remove the RELAY-ELAC 2 ANN SPLY (40CE2) AIPC 27920803.
         b Do a check of the resistance of the relay between pin X1 and pin X2 ASM 279203.
  • If the resistance is more than 400 ohms:
    . Replace the RELAY-ELAC 2 ANN SPLY (40CE2) AIPC 27920803.
    . Install the ELAC-2 (2CE2) AMM 27-93-34-400-001.
  • If the resistance is between 280 and 400 ohms:
    . Do a check and repair the wiring of the RLY ELAC FAULT signal from the relay to the ELAC 2 ASM 279203.
    . Install the relay.
    . Install the ELAC 2 AMM 27-93-34-400-001.
       3 If the resistance is between 280 and 400 ohms:
         a Remove the RELAY-ELAC 2 ANN SPLY (40CE2) AIPC 27920803.
  • If the warning ELAC2 stays:
    . Install the RLY-ELAC 2 ANN SPLY (40CE2) AIPC 27920803.
    . Continue the trouble shooting procedure.
  • If the warning ELAC2 goes off:
    . Replace the RLY-ELAC 2 ANN SPLY (40CE2) AIPC 27920803.
    . Install the ELAC 2 AMM 27-93-34-400-001.
         b Do a check and repair the wiring of the DSI 4/2 (ELAC2 FAILED) signals from the FCDC1 (3CE1) and the FCDC2 (3CE2) to the RLY-ELAC 2 ANN SPLY (40CE2) ASM 279504 and ASM 279505.
   (11) If the warning message F/CTL SEC 1/2/3 FAULT is shown with no maintenance message associated, do the following steps:
     (a) For SEC1:
