E. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser for Maintenance
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT YOU DO THE DEACTIVATION OF THE THRUST REVERSER BEFORE YOU DO MAINTENANCE WORK ON OR AROUND THE THRUST REVERSER. IF YOU DO NOT DO THIS PROCEDURE, THERE IS A RISK OF UNWANTED OPERATION AND THUS OF INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
   (1) Do the deactivation of the thrust reverser system for maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-805).

F. Get Access
   (1) Open the left thrust-reverser cowl-doors (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-802):
     (a) FOR [4020KM1] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENG 1)

4. Procedure
Subtask 79-33-25-020-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Low Oil Pressure (LOP) Switch
   (1) Find the switch (1) located approximately at the 9 o'clock position attached to the oil control manifold to the left of the main gearbox.
   (2) Remove the switch (1) as follows:
     (a) Disconnect the wiring harness connector (P70) from the switch (1) with the PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT.
     (b) Put a lint-free cotton cloth (Material No.P05-005) below the switch (1) to absorb any remaining oil.
     (c) Remove the two bolts (2) that attach the switch (1) to the oil manifold.
     (d) Remove the switch (1) from the oil manifold.
     (e) Discard the packing (3) from the switch (1).
   (3) Make sure that you install all of the necessary COVER - PROTECTION to prevent engine damage.
