C. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser for Ground Maintenance
WARNING: YOU MUST DEACTIVATE THE THRUST REVERSER BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON OR AROUND IT. IF YOU DO NOT, THE THRUST REVERSER CAN OPERATE ACCIDENTALLY AND CAUSE AN INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.
   (1) Do the deactivation of the thrust reverser system for ground maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-805).

   (1) Open the left thrust reverser cowl-doors (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-802):
     (a) FOR [4020KM1] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENG 1)

4. Procedure
CAUTION: WIPE CLEAN ALL PARTS AND TOOLS AS NECESSARY TO REMOVE UNWANTED DEBRIS AND PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
Subtask 79-33-23-020-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Oil Filter Differential Pressure Sensor
   (1) Find the sensor (1) attached to the front of the oil pump at the 8 o'clock position.
   (2) Put the CONTAINER 20L (5 USGAL) under the senseor (1).
   (3) Remove the sensor (1) from the oil pump as follows:
     (a) Disconnect the wiring harness (WC10) connector (P35) from the sensor (1) with the PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT.
     (b) Put a lint-free cotton cloth (Material No.P05-005) below the sensor (1) to absorb any remaining oil.
     (c) Loosen the two bolts (4) that attach the sensor (1) to the oil pump.
     (d) Turn the sensor (1) to disengage the two bolts (4).
     (e) Remove the sensor (1).
     (f) Discard the packings (2) and (3) from the sensor (1).
   (4) Installation of protection covers
CAUTION: INSTALL PROTECTION COVERS ON ALL THE OPENINGS IMMEDIATELY TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
     (a) Make sure that you install COVER - PROTECTION as necessary to prevent damage to the engine.
