BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO WORK ON THE ENGINE PARTS AFTER THE ENGINE SHUTDOWN. USE APPLICABLE THERMAL GLOVES. THE ENGINE PARTS CAN STAY HOT FOR ONE HOUR AFTER SHUTDOWN AND CAN BURN YOU.

A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Make sure that the ENG/MODE selector switch is in the NORM position.
(b) Make sure that the ENG/MASTER 1(2) control switch was in the OFF position not less than five minutes before you do this procedure.
(c) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position to tell persons not to operate:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 79-21-50-010-053-A (1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Make sure that the ENG/MODE selector switch is in the NORM position.

B. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the fan cowl doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-803):

4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the fan cowl doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-803):

WARNING:
USE PERSONAL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT. USE THE ENGINE OIL IN A WELL-VENTILATED AREA. ENGINE OIL IS TOXIC.
WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GLOVES AND BE CAREFUL WITH OIL SPLASHES WHEN YOU DISCONNECT OIL TUBES. HOT OIL CAN CAUSE DEEP BURNS.
Subtask 79-21-50-420-051-A A. Installation of the Non Return Valve (NRV)
(1) Put a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the NRV (1).
(2) Remove all the COVER - PROTECTION and CAP - PROTECTION from the openings, tubes, hoses and connectors.
(3) Make sure that the mating surfaces are clean and clear of unwanted materials.
(4) Install the new EIPC 79-21-50-01-090 GASKET (13) on the oil tube (11).
(5) Install the NRV (1) in the correct position on the oil tube (11).
(6) Install the new EIPC 79-21-50-01-110 GASKET (12) and oil tube (8) in correct position on the NRV (1).
(7) Install the four bolts (6) and the four nuts (5) to attach the oil tube (8) and oil tube (11) and tighten them with your hand.
(8) TORQUE the four nuts (5) to between 92.93 and 84.08 lbf.in (1.05 and 0.95 m.daN )

(9) Install the new EIPC 79-21-50-01-070 GASKET (10) and the oil tube (8) in the correct position on the lubrication unit (7).
(10) Install the four bolts (9) to attach the oil tube (8) to the lubrication unit (7) and tighten them with your hand.
(11) TORQUE the four bolts (9) to between 120.81 and 109.30 lbf.in (1.37 and 1.24 m.daN )

(12) Install the bolt (2) to attach the clamp (3) to the bracket (4) and tighten them with your hand.
(13) TORQUE the bolt (2) to between 46.47 and 42.04 lbf.in (0.53 and 0.48 m.daN )
.
(14) Remove the CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) from below the NRV (1).
Subtask 79-21-50-612-050-A (1) Put a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the NRV (1).
(2) Remove all the COVER - PROTECTION and CAP - PROTECTION from the openings, tubes, hoses and connectors.
(3) Make sure that the mating surfaces are clean and clear of unwanted materials.
(4) Install the new EIPC 79-21-50-01-090 GASKET (13) on the oil tube (11).
(5) Install the NRV (1) in the correct position on the oil tube (11).
(6) Install the new EIPC 79-21-50-01-110 GASKET (12) and oil tube (8) in correct position on the NRV (1).
(7) Install the four bolts (6) and the four nuts (5) to attach the oil tube (8) and oil tube (11) and tighten them with your hand.
(8) TORQUE the four nuts (5) to between 92.93 and 84.08 lbf.in (1.05 and 0.95 m.daN )
. (9) Install the new EIPC 79-21-50-01-070 GASKET (10) and the oil tube (8) in the correct position on the lubrication unit (7).
(10) Install the four bolts (9) to attach the oil tube (8) to the lubrication unit (7) and tighten them with your hand.
(11) TORQUE the four bolts (9) to between 120.81 and 109.30 lbf.in (1.37 and 1.24 m.daN )
. (12) Install the bolt (2) to attach the clamp (3) to the bracket (4) and tighten them with your hand.
(13) TORQUE the bolt (2) to between 46.47 and 42.04 lbf.in (0.53 and 0.48 m.daN )
. (14) Remove the CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) from below the NRV (1).
B. Replenishing of the Oil Tank
(1) Do the replenishing of the oil tank (Ref. AMM TASK 12-13-79-610-805).

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-803):
