Subtask 78-37-51-941-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 78-37-51-010-058-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.

B. Get Access
(1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-010):

(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) in position in the left side of engine.

(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) in position in the left side of engine.
C. Depressurization of the hydraulic reservoirs
(1) For engine 1 depressurize the green hydraulic reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(2) For engine 2 depressurize the yellow hydraulic reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
4. Procedure(1) For engine 1 depressurize the green hydraulic reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(2) For engine 2 depressurize the yellow hydraulic reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
Subtask 78-37-51-020-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Thrust Reverser Hydraulic Isolation Valve Filter
(1) Put the CONTAINER 4 L (1 USGAL) below the filter.
(2) Remove the filter bowl (8), as follows:
(a) Use the WRENCH - OPEN END to loosen the filter bowl (8).
(b) Turn the filter bowl counter-clockwise to remove it from the filter head (1).
(3) Remove and discard the filter element (4) from the filter bowl (8).
(4) Remove and discard the C-ring (2) and the packing (3) from the filter head (1).
(5) Turn the filter bowl (8) upside down and remove the B/V washer (5).
(6) Remove the drain can.
Subtask 78-37-51-420-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put the CONTAINER 4 L (1 USGAL) below the filter.
(2) Remove the filter bowl (8), as follows:
(a) Use the WRENCH - OPEN END to loosen the filter bowl (8).
(b) Turn the filter bowl counter-clockwise to remove it from the filter head (1).
(3) Remove and discard the filter element (4) from the filter bowl (8).
(4) Remove and discard the C-ring (2) and the packing (3) from the filter head (1).
(5) Turn the filter bowl (8) upside down and remove the B/V washer (5).
(6) Remove the drain can.
B. Installation of the Thrust Reverser Hydraulic Isolation Valve Filter
(1) Hold the filter bowl (8) with the open end at the top.
(2) Install the B/V washer (5) in the filter bowl (8).
(4) Install the new filter element (4) in the filter bowl (8).
(5) Install a new AIPC 78-37-51-81-040 C-RING (2) in the top groove of the filter head (1).
(6) Fill the filter bowl (8) with thrust reverser hydraulic fluid.
(7) Install the filter bowl (8) into the filter head (1) and turn the filter bowl clockwise.
(8) TORQUE the filter bowl to between 85 and 75 lbf.ft (11.52 and 10.17 m.daN )

5. Close-up(1) Hold the filter bowl (8) with the open end at the top.
(2) Install the B/V washer (5) in the filter bowl (8).
NOTE: The smaller diameter of the B/V washer should face the open end of the filter bowl.
(3) Put a new AIPC 78-37-51-81-060 PACKING (3) on the new AIPC 78-37-51-81-030 FILTER ELEMENT (4). (4) Install the new filter element (4) in the filter bowl (8).
(5) Install a new AIPC 78-37-51-81-040 C-RING (2) in the top groove of the filter head (1).
(6) Fill the filter bowl (8) with thrust reverser hydraulic fluid.
(7) Install the filter bowl (8) into the filter head (1) and turn the filter bowl clockwise.
(8) TORQUE the filter bowl to between 85 and 75 lbf.ft (11.52 and 10.17 m.daN )
. Subtask 78-37-51-614-064-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Pressurization of the hydraulic reservoir
(1) For engine 1 pressurize the green hydraulic reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(2) For engine 2 pressurize the yellow hydraulic reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(3) Make sure that there is no leaks at the tube connections.
Subtask 78-37-51-410-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) For engine 1 pressurize the green hydraulic reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(2) For engine 2 pressurize the yellow hydraulic reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(3) Make sure that there is no leaks at the tube connections.
B. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-010):
(a) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)

(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-010):
