A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

B. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the fan cowl doors are open: (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040)

(2) Make sure that the left thrust reverser door is open: (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-040)

C. Make sure that the thrust reverser is unserviceable (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-481-041).

4. Procedure
Subtask 78-36-41-420-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Installation of the Thrust Reverser Half Door Stirrups:
(1) Installation of the Aft Half Door Stirrup
(a) Put the stirrup (30) in position and install the tension nut (20). Tighten the nuts with your hand.

NOTE: Do not torque the nut at this time. The nut will be torqued during the adjustment procedures for the thrust reverser half door latches.

(b) Put the locking bracket (10) over the tension nut (20) and loosely install the screw (15).
(2) Installation of the Middle Half Door Stirrup
(a) Put the stirrup (30) in position and install the tension nut (20). Tighten the nut with your hand.

NOTE: Do not torque the nut at this time. The nut will be torqued during the adjustment procedures for the thrust reverser half door latches.

(b) Put the locking bracket (10) over the tension nut (20) and loosely install the screw (15).
(3) Installation of the Forward Half Door Stirrups
(a) Put the stirrups (30) in position and install the tension nuts (20). Tighten the nuts with your hand.

NOTE: Do not torque the nuts at this time. The nuts will be torqued during the adjustment procedures for the thrust reverser half door latches.

(b) Put the locking brackets (10) over the tension nuts (20) and loosely install the screws (15).

B. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the left thrust reverser half door (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-410-040).

C. Adjust the thrust reverser half door latches (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-41-820-042).
