A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize FADEC 1(2).
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) is in position.

A. Reactivation of the Cowl Opening Actuator
Capping of the Disconnected Inner Supply Pipe of the Cowl Opening Actuator System ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
(2) Remove the flareless tube cap (MS21914-4J) from the disconnected inner supply pipe.
(3) Install the cowl opening actuator (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-51-400-041).
(4) Remove the COVER - PROTECTION.
5. Close-up
Capping of the Disconnected Inner Supply Pipe of the Cowl Opening Actuator System ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL CAUTION:
COVER THE CORE ENGINE COMPRESSOR CASE WITH A PROTECTIVE COVER TO MAKE SURE THAT HYDRAULIC FLUID DOES NOT LEAK ONTO THE COMPRESSOR CASE.
(1) Install COVER - PROTECTION over the compressor cases of the core. (2) Remove the flareless tube cap (MS21914-4J) from the disconnected inner supply pipe.
(3) Install the cowl opening actuator (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-51-400-041).
(4) Remove the COVER - PROTECTION.
Subtask 78-36-00-410-081-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the thrust reverser cowl doors with one or more door opening actuator defective (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-410-804):
