WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO WORK ON THE ENGINE PARTS AFTER THE ENGINE SHUTDOWN. USE APPLICABLE THERMAL GLOVES. THE ENGINE PARTS CAN STAY HOT FOR ONE HOUR AFTER SHUTDOWN AND CAN BURN YOU.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position.
Subtask 77-32-15-010-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.

C. Remove the applicable covers/caps/plugs from the openings.
Subtask 77-32-15-110-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL D. Clean the Parts
(1) Use the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , made moist with the cleaning fluid (Material No.V01-002) to clean these parts:
(a) The nuts (7) and (24).
(b) The bolts (4), (22), (25) and (27).
(c) The bracket (6).
(d) The clips.
(e) The electrical receptacles (3) and (5).
(f) The electrical connectors (1) and (2).
(g) The interface of the engine fan case.
4. Procedure(1) Use the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , made moist with the cleaning fluid (Material No.V01-002) to clean these parts:
(a) The nuts (7) and (24).
(b) The bolts (4), (22), (25) and (27).
(c) The bracket (6).
(d) The clips.
(e) The electrical receptacles (3) and (5).
(f) The electrical connectors (1) and (2).
(g) The interface of the engine fan case.
Subtask 77-32-15-420-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Vibration Transducer
(1) Install the transducer.
(a) Install the new AIPC 77-32-15-80-335 PACKING (11) to the mounting plate (10) (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-13-911-010).
(b) Attach the transducer (9) and the mounting plate (10) to the fan case with the bolts (8).
(c) TORQUE the bolts (8) to between 40 and 30 lbf.in (0.45 and 0.34 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013).
(2) Connect the transducer connector bracket (6).
(a) Attach the bracket (6) with the transducer cable receptacles (3) and (5) fitted, to flange B with the bolts (4) and the nuts (7).
(b) TORQUE the nuts (7) to between 38.5 and 31.5 lbf.in (0.44 and 0.36 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013).
(c) Connect the electrical connectors (1) and (2) (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-15-912-010) to the receptacles (3) and (5) at the positions identified when removed (Ref. AMM TASK 77-32-15-000-010).
(3) Connect the transducer cables to the clip positions.
(4) At the clip positions D, attach the clip to the brackets with the washers (28) and the bolts (27).
(5) At the clip positions C, attach the clips to the brackets with the washers (26) and the bolts (25).
(6) At the clip position B, attach the clips to the bracket with the washer (23), bolt (22) and nut (24).
(7) TORQUE the nut (24) and the bolts (25) and (27) to between 44 and 36 lbf.in (0.50 and 0.41 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013).
5. Close-up(1) Install the transducer.
(a) Install the new AIPC 77-32-15-80-335 PACKING (11) to the mounting plate (10) (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-13-911-010).
(b) Attach the transducer (9) and the mounting plate (10) to the fan case with the bolts (8).
(c) TORQUE the bolts (8) to between 40 and 30 lbf.in (0.45 and 0.34 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013). (2) Connect the transducer connector bracket (6).
(a) Attach the bracket (6) with the transducer cable receptacles (3) and (5) fitted, to flange B with the bolts (4) and the nuts (7).
(b) TORQUE the nuts (7) to between 38.5 and 31.5 lbf.in (0.44 and 0.36 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013). (c) Connect the electrical connectors (1) and (2) (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-15-912-010) to the receptacles (3) and (5) at the positions identified when removed (Ref. AMM TASK 77-32-15-000-010).
(3) Connect the transducer cables to the clip positions.
(4) At the clip positions D, attach the clip to the brackets with the washers (28) and the bolts (27).
(5) At the clip positions C, attach the clips to the brackets with the washers (26) and the bolts (25).
(6) At the clip position B, attach the clips to the bracket with the washer (23), bolt (22) and nut (24).
(7) TORQUE the nut (24) and the bolts (25) and (27) to between 44 and 36 lbf.in (0.50 and 0.41 m.daN )

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the fan cowls (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-010):
(a) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)

(b) FOR [1000EM2] (ENGINE-2)

(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
Subtask 77-32-15-710-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the fan cowls (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-010):

(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
B. Test Requirements
(1) Dry motor leak check (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-045).
(2) Do an operational test of the EVMU (Ref. AMM TASK 77-32-34-710-041) and make sure that on CFDS no fault related to the vibration transducer is shown.
