A. Safety Precautions
(1) Make sure that you did the procedure to prevent engine motoring and to stop the electrical supply to the Electronic Engine Control (EEC)
(Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-860-832)
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position.
(3) Make sure that the throttle control levers are set to idle (0 deg. TLA).
(4) Make sure that the 98DNSA20208080 RIGGING PIN (13) is installed in the artificial feel unit of the throttle control.

D. Make sure that the bush (3) is correctly bonded to the bolt (2).
(1) If necessary, bond the bush (3) to the bolt (2) with Retaining adhesive-Cylindrical fitting Medium strength Low viscosity - (Material No.05ABF1) .
4. Procedure(1) If necessary, bond the bush (3) to the bolt (2) with Retaining adhesive-Cylindrical fitting Medium strength Low viscosity - (Material No.05ABF1) .
Subtask 76-11-51-420-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Throttle Control Unit
(1) Remove all the blanking caps from the connectors.
(2) Install the throttle control unit (11) on its support.
(3) Install the three bolts (1) with the washers (10) and the nuts (9). Tighten the bolts (1).
(4) Install the three new AIPC 76-11-81-03-010 COTTER PINS (8).
(5) Engage the rod (4) in the fork of the throttle control unit (11).
(6) Attach the rod to the fork with the bolt (2) equipped with the bush (3), the washer (7) and the nut (6). Tighten the bolt.
(7) Connect the five electrical connectors (12). Tighten the electrical connector fingertight plus one-eighth turn using PLIERS - NOSE, SOFT, LONG.
Subtask 76-11-51-820-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove all the blanking caps from the connectors.
(2) Install the throttle control unit (11) on its support.
(3) Install the three bolts (1) with the washers (10) and the nuts (9). Tighten the bolts (1).
(4) Install the three new AIPC 76-11-81-03-010 COTTER PINS (8).
(5) Engage the rod (4) in the fork of the throttle control unit (11).
(6) Attach the rod to the fork with the bolt (2) equipped with the bush (3), the washer (7) and the nut (6). Tighten the bolt.
(7) Connect the five electrical connectors (12). Tighten the electrical connector fingertight plus one-eighth turn using PLIERS - NOSE, SOFT, LONG.
B. Make sure that you can easily install and remove the 98DNSA20206080 RIGGING PIN (14). If not, adjust the rod (12) (Ref. AMM TASK 76-11-00-820-803).
Subtask 76-11-51-420-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL Subtask 76-11-51-080-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL D. Remove the rigging pin (13) from the artificial feel unit.
Subtask 76-11-51-869-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL E. Check of the Throttle Control Unit Installation
(1) With the throttle control lever in the idle position:
(a) Move the thrust reverser control lever to the full reverse position, then back to the idle position. Make sure that there are no hard and/or blocking points over the full travel range.

G. Test
(1) Make sure that all the circuit breakers shown in the paragraph Procedure of the engine interface unit installation are closed. If they are not, close them in the recommended sequence
(Ref. AMM TASK 73-25-34-400-802)
(2) Do an operational test of the throttle control unit (Ref. AMM TASK 76-11-00-710-804).
5. Close-up(1) Make sure that all the circuit breakers shown in the paragraph Procedure of the engine interface unit installation are closed. If they are not, close them in the recommended sequence

(2) Do an operational test of the throttle control unit (Ref. AMM TASK 76-11-00-710-804).

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close access door 811.
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
