PRE SB C73-00-0009A (Config-1 Initial Design Configuration)
(1) Disconnection of the servo fuel tubes from the ACC valve (1).
Turbine Active Clearance Control (ACC) Air Valve (Config-1 Initial Design Configuration) ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
(a) Disconnect the electrical connector from the ACC valve (1) with PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT.
(b) Put a lint-free cotton cloth (Material No.P05-005) under the servo fuel tubes (CR11) and (CP11) to absorb any leakage.
(c) Loosen the servo return fuel tube B-nut.
(d) Disconnect the servo return fuel tube from the ACC valve (1).
(e) Loosen the servo pressure fuel tube B-nut.
(f) Disconnect the servo pressure tube from the ACC valve (1).

(2) Disconnection of the servo fuel tubes from the ACC valve (1).
Turbine Active Clearance Control (ACC) Air Valve (Config-2 Case Assembly Durability Improvement Configuration) ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
(a) Disconnect the electrical connector from the ACC valve (1) with PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT.
(b) Put a lint-free cotton cloth (Material No.P05-005) under the servo fuel tubes (CR26) and (CP26) to absorb any leakage.
(c) Loosen the servo return fuel tube B-nut.
(d) Disconnect the servo return fuel tube from the ACC valve (1).
(e) Loosen the servo pressure fuel tube B-nut.
(f) Disconnect the servo pressure tube from the ACC valve (1).

(3) Removal of the ACC valve (1).
(a) Loosen the V-band couplings.
(b) Remove the V-band couplings (2) and the ACC valve (1) from the ACC inlet duct.
(4) Examine the assembly for foreign objects, damage and correct assembly.
(5) Installation of the protection covers.

CAUTION:
DO NOT BEND THE FUEL TUBES WHEN YOU DISCONNECT THEM FROM THE VALVE. DAMAGE TO THE FUEL TUBES WILL OCCUR IF TOO MUCH FORCE IS APPLIED TO THE TUBES.
A. Removal of the Turbine Active Clearance Control (ACC) Air Valve PRE SB C73-00-0009A (Config-1 Initial Design Configuration)
(1) Disconnection of the servo fuel tubes from the ACC valve (1).

(d) Disconnect the servo return fuel tube from the ACC valve (1).
(e) Loosen the servo pressure fuel tube B-nut.
(f) Disconnect the servo pressure tube from the ACC valve (1).

(3) Removal of the ACC valve (1).

(5) Installation of the protection covers.
CAUTION:
INSTALL PROTECTION COVERS ON ALL THE OPENINGS IMMEDIATELY TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
(a) Make sure that you install COVER - PROTECTION as necessary to prevent damage to the engine.
