A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Make sure that the ENG/MODE selector switch is in the NORM position.
(b) Make sure that the ENG/MASTER 1(2) control switch was in the OFF position not less than five minutes before you do this procedure.
(c) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position to tell persons not to operate:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 73-34-10-010-052-A (1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Make sure that the ENG/MODE selector switch is in the NORM position.

B. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the fan cowl doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-803):

(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) is in position.
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the fan cowl doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-803):

(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) is in position.
Subtask 73-34-10-420-050-A
A. Installation of the Fuel Strainer Differential Pressure Sensor
(1) Remove all the COVER - PROTECTION and CAP - PROTECTION on the openings, tubes, hoses and connectors.
(2) Make sure that the mating surfaces are clean and clear of unwanted materials.
(3) Lubrication of the bolts and packings
(4) Install the two new retainer packings (5), the new preformed packing (6) and the new preformed packing (7) in the groove of the fuel strainer differential pressure sensor (1).
(5) Install the fuel strainer differential pressure sensor (1) on the Fuel Metering Unit (FMU) (2).
(6) Install the two bolts (4) to attach the fuel strainer differential pressure sensor (1) on the FMU (2) and tighten it with your hand.
(7) TORQUE the two bolts (4) to between 123.9 and 112.1 lbf.in (1.40 and 1.27 m.daN )

(8) Connect the HJ6A harness electrical connector (3) as follows:
5. Close-up(1) Remove all the COVER - PROTECTION and CAP - PROTECTION on the openings, tubes, hoses and connectors.
(2) Make sure that the mating surfaces are clean and clear of unwanted materials.
(3) Lubrication of the bolts and packings
WARNING:
USE PERSONAL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT. USE THE ENGINE OIL IN A WELL-VENTILATED AREA. ENGINE OIL IS TOXIC.
(a) Lubricate the threads of the two bolts (4) and the two new EIPC 73-34-10-01-030 RETAINER PACKINGS (5), the new EIPC 73-34-10-01-040 PREFORMED PACKING (6) and the new EIPC 73-34-10-01-050 PREFORMED PACKING (7) with the engine oil (Material No.CP2442) (4) Install the two new retainer packings (5), the new preformed packing (6) and the new preformed packing (7) in the groove of the fuel strainer differential pressure sensor (1).
(5) Install the fuel strainer differential pressure sensor (1) on the Fuel Metering Unit (FMU) (2).
(6) Install the two bolts (4) to attach the fuel strainer differential pressure sensor (1) on the FMU (2) and tighten it with your hand.
(7) TORQUE the two bolts (4) to between 123.9 and 112.1 lbf.in (1.40 and 1.27 m.daN )
. (8) Connect the HJ6A harness electrical connector (3) as follows:
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS FOR THE FMU AND THE FUEL STRAINER DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR ARE CONNECTED TO THE CORRECT HARNESSES. IF THEY ARE NOT, FAULTS OF THE FMV, FUEL STRAINER DELTA PRESSURE, TCMA AND EOS CAN OCCUR DURING THE IDLE TEST.
(a) Connect the HJ6A harness electrical connector (3) to the fuel strainer differential pressure sensor (1). Subtask 73-34-10-700-050-A
A. Tests
(1) Remove the access platform(s).
(2) FADEC test (Ref. AMM TASK 73-29-00-710-802).
(3) Dry-motoring check (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-700-805).

B. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-803):
