B. Get Access
   (1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-802):
     (a) FOR [4020KM1] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENG 1)

     (b) FOR [4020KM2] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENG 2)

C. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser for Maintenance
WARNING: YOU MUST DEACTIVATE THE THRUST REVERSER BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON OR AROUND IT. IF YOU DO NOT, THE THRUST REVERSER CAN OPERATE ACCIDENTALLY AND CAUSE AN INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.
   (1) Do the deactivation of the thrust reverser system for maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-805).

D. Get Access
   (1) Open the left thrust reverser cowl-doors (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-802):
     (a) FOR [4020KM1] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENG 1)
451AL.
     (b) FOR [4020KM2] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENG 2)
461AL.
   (2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 1M (3 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position.
4. Procedure
Subtask 73-21-70-020-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the EEC Wiring Harness WC11
CAUTION: WIPE CLEAN ALL PARTS AND TOOLS AS NECESSARY TO REMOVE UNWANTED DEBRIS AND PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
   (1) Find the harness (WC11) (1) attached to the left-hand side of the engine core.
   (2) Remove the harness (WC11) (1) from the engine as follows:
     (a) Disconnect the wiring harness (WC11) (1) connectors from the engine with the PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT as follows:
       1 Disconnect the connector (P105) from the harness (W04) receptacle (J105).
       2 Disconnect the connector (P68) from the fuel return to tank valve receptacle (J68).
       3 Disconnect the connector (P37) from the IDG fuel/oil heat exchanger differential pressure sensor receptacle (J37).
     (b) Disengage the harness (WC11) (1) from the spring clips.
     (c) Remove the harness (WC11) (1) from the engine.
   (3) Installation of the protection covers
CAUTION: INSTALL PROTECTION COVERS ON ALL THE OPENINGS IMMEDIATELY TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
     (a) Make sure that you install COVER - PROTECTION as necessary to prevent damage to the engine.
