A. Installation of the Fuel Tubes
   (1) Remove the protective covers from the switch (5) and the upper tubes (35) and (40). Install the upper tubes (35) and (40) to the fuel filter differential pressure switch (5). TORQUE the couplings to between 160 and 150 lbf.in (1.81 and 1.70 m.daN ) T.
   (2) Lubricate the
AIPC 73-34-15-01-020 PACKINGS (60) with engine oil (Material No.CP2442) .
   (3) Put the packings (60) on the unions (55).
   (4) Install the unions (55) in the fuel filter (10).
NOTE: Make sure you install the unions (55) with the small orifice mating with the tubes.
   (5) TORQUE the unions (55) to between 160 and 150 lbf.in (1.81 and 1.70 m.daN ) T.
   (6) Remove the protective covers from the lower tubes (45) and (50). Install tube (45) on the low pressure port of fuel filter (10). Install tube (50) on the high pressure port of fuel filter (10). TORQUE the tube coupling nuts to between 150 and 135 lbf.in (1.70 and 1.53 m.daN )
T.
NOTE: Use a second wrench to hold the unions (55) when you torque the tube coupling nuts.
