2 Connect the flexible hose (7) of the 956A6621G01 TOOL SET, LEAK TEST - AGB/EQUIPMENT CAVITY to the nipple (24) of the fuel pump pad (23).
3 TORQUE the coupling nut (8) of the flexible hose (7) of the 956A6621G01 TOOL SET, LEAK TEST - AGB/EQUIPMENT CAVITY to between 300 and 262 lbf.in (3.39 and 2.96 m.daN )
. 4 Connect the flexible hose (9) of the 956A6621G01 TOOL SET, LEAK TEST - AGB/EQUIPMENT CAVITY to the AIR SOURCE 0.3 TO 0.7 BAR (5 TO 10 PSI)- FILTERED, DRY (10).
5 TORQUE the flexible hose (9) of the 956A6621G01 TOOL SET, LEAK TEST - AGB/EQUIPMENT CAVITY to between 255 and 200 lbf.in (2.88 and 2.26 m.daN )
. (c) Do the leak test as follows:
CAUTION:
DO NOT OVERPRESSURIZE THE CAVITY. IF YOU PRESSURIZE IT TO MORE THAN 199.95 KPA (29 PSI), MAG SEAL SEPARATION CAN OCCUR.
1 Open the AIR SOURCE 0.3 TO 0.7 BAR (5 TO 10 PSI)- FILTERED, DRY (10) to pressurize the cavity between 9.5 psi (0.66 bar) and 10 psi (0.69 bar). 2 Close the isolation valve (11) to isolate the AGB cavity.
3 Do a check of the sealing cavity.
4 If there is a quick decrease in pressure, replace the O-ring.
NOTE: A quick pressure decrease indicates a damaged O-ring.
5 If it is difficult to isolate cavity and maintain pressure, install a new O-ring. NOTE: Difficulties to isolate cavity and maintain pressure indicates a missing O-ring.
6 Do the leak test again. Refer to step 4.A.(5)(c). 7 If there is no pressure decrease during one minute test, remove the 956A6621G01 TOOL SET, LEAK TEST - AGB/EQUIPMENT CAVITY
(d) Removal of the sealing tool:
1 Remove the flexible hose (9) of the 956A6621G01 TOOL SET, LEAK TEST - AGB/EQUIPMENT CAVITY from the AIR SOURCE 0.3 TO 0.7 BAR (5 TO 10 PSI)- FILTERED, DRY (10).
2 Loosen the threads of the coupling nut (8) to disconnect the flexible hose (7) of the 956A6621G01 TOOL SET, LEAK TEST - AGB/EQUIPMENT CAVITY from the nipple (24) of the fuel pump pad (23).
3 Remove the flexible hose (7) of the 956A6621G01 TOOL SET, LEAK TEST - AGB/EQUIPMENT CAVITY.
4 Install the storage plugs on the 956A6621G01 TOOL SET, LEAK TEST - AGB/EQUIPMENT CAVITY.
(e) Connection of the fuel pump pad drain tube (25):
1 Lubricate the threads of the coupling nut (26) with the engine oil (Material No.CP2442) .
2 Connect the fuel pump pad drain tube (25) to the nipple (24) of the fuel pump pad (23).
3 TORQUE the coupling nut (26) to between 300 and 262 lbf.in (3.39 and 2.96 m.daN )
. (6) Remove the CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) kept below the AGB (1).
