A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the access platform and the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position.

4. Procedure

A. Installation of the Fitting at RIB1 and RIB2

Thrust Reverser Cowl Fitting at RIB 1 and RIB 2 ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

NOTE: The installation at Rib1 is the same as for Rib2.

(1) If you install new reverser fittings, do a dimensional check of the new and the used reverser fittings.
(2) Obey the location and thickness of the peel washers (9) recorded at the removal.
(3) Put the shim (5) in the correct position on the pylon structure (6).
(4) Put the thrust reverser cowl fitting (2) in position.
(5) Install the washers (4) on the bolts (3).
(6) Install the bolts (3) with Non Hardening Jointing Putty-High Temp. Area - Structure (Material No.06LDG2) .
(7) Install the washers (7), the AIPC 54-57-17-02-010 NUT (8) and the AIPC 54-51-17-02-020 NUT (10).
(8) Tighten the nuts (8) and (10).

A. Installation of Components
(1) Install the thrust reverser half doors (Ref. AMM TASK 78-32-11-400-040), (Ref. AMM TASK 78-32-11-400-002).

B. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the lateral access-doors (Ref. AMM TASK 54-51-21-400-001):
(a) for the left pylon: 415AL 415AR
(b) for the right pylon: 425AL 425AR.
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
