Subtask 54-53-11-941-063-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Safety Precautions
(1) Make sure that you did the procedure to prevent engine motoring
(Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-860-833).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position:
(a) For the left pylon, in zone 470
(b) For the right pylon, in zone 480.
Subtask 54-53-11-040-060-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that you did the procedure to prevent engine motoring
(Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-860-833).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position:
(a) For the left pylon, in zone 470
(b) For the right pylon, in zone 480.
B. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser
Subtask 54-53-11-110-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE THRUST REVERSER IS LOCKED. IF NOT, THE THRUST REVERSER CAN OPERATE ACCIDENTALLY AND CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONNEL AND/OR DAMAGE TO THE REVERSER.
(1) Make sure that the thrust reverser is unserviceable for maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-805). C. Preparation for Installation
(1) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(2) Clean the parts retained from the removed component with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , if necessary.
(3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(2) Clean the parts retained from the removed component with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , if necessary.
(3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
Subtask 54-53-11-420-056-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Pressure Relief Door
(2) Apply Sealants on the shanks of the screws (2), (3), (4) and (5).
(3) Install the screws (2), (3), (4) and (6) and the nuts (8), (9), (11) and (12).
(4) Install the screw (5), the bonding lead (7) and the nut (10).
(5) When you install the screw (5) and the nut (10), do the electrical bonding at the applicable location (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(6) Tighten the nuts (8), (9), (10), (11) and (12).
(7) Close the pressure relief door (1).
Subtask 54-53-11-820-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT YOU INSTALL EACH OF THE SCREWS IN ITS CORRECT POSITION. THE SCREWS HAVE DIFFERENT LENGTHS. IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL EACH OF THE SCREWS IN ITS CORRECT POSITION, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
(1) Put the pressure relief door (1) in position. (2) Apply Sealants on the shanks of the screws (2), (3), (4) and (5).
(3) Install the screws (2), (3), (4) and (6) and the nuts (8), (9), (11) and (12).
(4) Install the screw (5), the bonding lead (7) and the nut (10).
(5) When you install the screw (5) and the nut (10), do the electrical bonding at the applicable location (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(6) Tighten the nuts (8), (9), (10), (11) and (12).
(7) Close the pressure relief door (1).
B. Check of the Clearance
(1) Make sure that out-of-flush dimension A1 between the pressure relief door (1) and the overpressure access door (2) is 0 +0 mm or -1.1 mm (0.0000 +0.0000 in. or -0.0433 in.).
(2) Make sure that peripheral clearance J1 between the pressure relief door (1) and the overpressure access door (2) is 3 +2 mm or -2 mm (0.1181 +0.0787 in. or -0.0787 in.).
5. Close-up(1) Make sure that out-of-flush dimension A1 between the pressure relief door (1) and the overpressure access door (2) is 0 +0 mm or -1.1 mm (0.0000 +0.0000 in. or -0.0433 in.).
(2) Make sure that peripheral clearance J1 between the pressure relief door (1) and the overpressure access door (2) is 3 +2 mm or -2 mm (0.1181 +0.0787 in. or -0.0787 in.).

(1) Make the thrust reverser serviceable after maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-440-805).
