B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW p/bsw is OFF.
(3) Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
Subtask 49-32-13-865-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW p/bsw is OFF.
(3) Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).

D. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(2) Open the APU access doors 315AL 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(3) Set the LIGHT SW 11LJ to the ON position.
4. Procedure(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(2) Open the APU access doors 315AL 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(3) Set the LIGHT SW 11LJ to the ON position.
Subtask 49-32-13-020-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Flow Divider
(a) Disconnect the electrical connector (12) from the solenoid (17).
(b) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(c) Put a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the flow divider (1).
(d) Disconnect the primary manifold fuel pipe (15) from the flow divider (1).
(e) Disconnect the main fuel feed pipe (16) from the flow divider (1).
(f) Disconnect the secondary manifold fuel pipe (9) from the union (8).
(g) Remove the bolt (14) and the nut (5) and disconnect the bonding lead (6).
(h) Remove the bolt (11) and open the clamp (10).
(i) Remove the flow divider (1), the solenoid (17) and the union (8) from the APU.
(j) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(k) Remove and discard the O-ring (7).
(l) Loosen the nut (2) and remove the flow divider (1) from the solenoid (17).
(m) Remove and discard the O-ring (4) and the retainer ring (3).
(2) If the VSB 49-7739 is incorporated:
(a) Disconnect the electrical connector (12) from the solenoid (9).
(b) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(c) Put a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the flow divider (1).
(d) Disconnect the primary manifold fuel pipe (14) from the flow divider (1).
(e) Disconnect the main fuel feed pipe (15) from the flow divider (1).
(f) Disconnect the secondary manifold fuel pipe (8) from the check valve (7).
(g) Remove the bolt (16) and the nut (5) and disconnect the bonding lead (6).
(h) Remove the bolt (11) and open the clamp (10).
(i) Remove the flow divider (1), the solenoid (9) and the check valve (7) from the APU.
(j) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(k) Loosen the nut (2) and remove the check valve (7) from the solenoid (9).
(l) Remove and discard the O-ring (4) and the retainer ring (3).
(m) Loosen the nut (17) and remove the flow divider (1) from the solenoid (9).
(n) Remove and discard the O-ring (19) and the retainer ring (18).
CAUTION:
PUT PLASTIC CAPS OR PLUGS ON ALL FUEL AND/OR LUBRICATION SYSTEM COMPONENTS AND LINES. IF YOU USE TAPE, CLOTH, OR METAL CAPS ON THEM, YOU CAN DAMAGE THE APU.
CAUTION:
YOU MUST USE TWO WRENCHES AND HOLD THE COMPONENT WHEN YOU REMOVE/INSTALL THE PIPE COUPLINGS AND/OR UNIONS. THIS PREVENTS DAMAGE TO THE COMPONENT.
(1) If the VSB 49-7739 is not incorporated: (a) Disconnect the electrical connector (12) from the solenoid (17).
(b) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(c) Put a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the flow divider (1).
(d) Disconnect the primary manifold fuel pipe (15) from the flow divider (1).
(e) Disconnect the main fuel feed pipe (16) from the flow divider (1).
(f) Disconnect the secondary manifold fuel pipe (9) from the union (8).
(g) Remove the bolt (14) and the nut (5) and disconnect the bonding lead (6).
(h) Remove the bolt (11) and open the clamp (10).
(i) Remove the flow divider (1), the solenoid (17) and the union (8) from the APU.
(j) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(k) Remove and discard the O-ring (7).
(l) Loosen the nut (2) and remove the flow divider (1) from the solenoid (17).
(m) Remove and discard the O-ring (4) and the retainer ring (3).
(2) If the VSB 49-7739 is incorporated:
(a) Disconnect the electrical connector (12) from the solenoid (9).
(b) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(c) Put a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the flow divider (1).
(d) Disconnect the primary manifold fuel pipe (14) from the flow divider (1).
(e) Disconnect the main fuel feed pipe (15) from the flow divider (1).
(f) Disconnect the secondary manifold fuel pipe (8) from the check valve (7).
(g) Remove the bolt (16) and the nut (5) and disconnect the bonding lead (6).
(h) Remove the bolt (11) and open the clamp (10).
(i) Remove the flow divider (1), the solenoid (9) and the check valve (7) from the APU.
(j) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(k) Loosen the nut (2) and remove the check valve (7) from the solenoid (9).
(l) Remove and discard the O-ring (4) and the retainer ring (3).
(m) Loosen the nut (17) and remove the flow divider (1) from the solenoid (9).
(n) Remove and discard the O-ring (19) and the retainer ring (18).
