WARNING:
DO NOT TOUCH THE APU UNTIL IT IS SUFFICIENTLY COOL TO PREVENT BURNS WHEN YOU DO THE MAINTENANCE TASK(S).
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE THE CORRECT FIRE FIGHTING EQUIPMENT AVAILABLE.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE FUEL-FEED SYSTEM DOES NOT HAVE ANY LEAKS. LEAKS IN THE FUEL-FEED SYSTEM CAN CAUSE A FIRE.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW p/bsw is OFF.
(3) Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4) Obey the fuel safety procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
(5) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).

B. Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(2) Open the APU access doors 315AL 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(3) Set the LIGHT control SW 11LJ to the ON position.
4. Procedure(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(2) Open the APU access doors 315AL 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(3) Set the LIGHT control SW 11LJ to the ON position.

A. Removal of the Nozzles
(2) Remove the locking plate (6).
(3) Put the CONTAINER 10 L(2 1/2 USGAL) below the fuel manifold assembly.
(4) Disconnect the fuel supply pipes for the primary manifold (10) and the secondary manifold (8) at the flow divider.
(5) Let unwanted fuel drain into the container.
(6) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(7) Disconnect the manifold connectors (4) at the fuel nozzle (3).
(8) Remove the bolts (5), the nozzle (3), the packing (2) and the air shroud (1).
(9) Discard the packing (2).
(10) Remove the container.
NOTE: Do not remove all the fuel nozzles at the same time. The nozzles keep the correct combustor assembly aligned.
(1) Remove the safety pins (7) from the fuel nozzle bolts (5). (2) Remove the locking plate (6).
(3) Put the CONTAINER 10 L(2 1/2 USGAL) below the fuel manifold assembly.
(4) Disconnect the fuel supply pipes for the primary manifold (10) and the secondary manifold (8) at the flow divider.
(5) Let unwanted fuel drain into the container.
(6) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(7) Disconnect the manifold connectors (4) at the fuel nozzle (3).
(8) Remove the bolts (5), the nozzle (3), the packing (2) and the air shroud (1).
(9) Discard the packing (2).
(10) Remove the container.
