Removal of the Rear Navigation-Light Adaptor-Plate

A. Safety Precautions
(1) In the cockpit, on panel 25VU:

- Make sure that the STROBE switch is in the OFF position.
- Make sure that the NAV & LOGO switch is in the OFF position.
- Make sure that the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch is in the OFF position.
- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to operate the navigation lights or the strobe lights.
- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to operate the APU.
B. Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position in the APU tail-cone-exhaust area.
(2) Remove the APU-exhaust access-fairing (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-18-000-001) or, as an alternative, the rear navigation and strobe light assembly (Ref. AMM TASK 33-41-17-000-801).
4. Procedure(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position in the APU tail-cone-exhaust area.
(2) Remove the APU-exhaust access-fairing (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-18-000-001) or, as an alternative, the rear navigation and strobe light assembly (Ref. AMM TASK 33-41-17-000-801).

A. Removal of the Rear Navigation-Light Adaptor-Plate
(1) Disconnect the electrical connectors (1) and (4).
(2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(3) Remove the screws (7) and washers (6).
(4) Remove the screw (2) and washer (3).
(5) Remove the rear navigation-light adaptor-plate (5) from the APU-exhaust access fairing.
(1) Disconnect the electrical connectors (1) and (4).
(2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(3) Remove the screws (7) and washers (6).
(4) Remove the screw (2) and washer (3).
(5) Remove the rear navigation-light adaptor-plate (5) from the APU-exhaust access fairing.
