WARNING:
PUT THE SAFETY DEVICES AND THE WARNING NOTICES IN POSITION BEFORE YOU START A TASK ON OR NEAR:
- THE FLIGHT CONTROLS
- THE FLIGHT CONTROL SURFACES
- THE LANDING GEAR AND THE RELATED DOORS
- COMPONENTS THAT MOVE.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.

(1) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.
(2) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position on panel 25VU to tell persons not to operate the strobe lights or the navigation lights.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are de-energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

D. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT) below applicable zone 534 or 634.
(2) Remove the glazing panel (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-37-13-000-801).

Subtask 33-41-11-020-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Navigation Light
(1) Make sure that the electrical connector (2) is removed.
(2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(3) Remove the sealant from the bolt (6) and the washer (7) with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
(4) Remove the bolts (4) and (6) and the washers (3) and (7).
(5) Remove the navigation light (5) from the glazing panel (1).
(6) Put the navigation light (5) into a BAG - ANTISTATIC and put it in safe storage.
(1) Make sure that the electrical connector (2) is removed.
(2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(3) Remove the sealant from the bolt (6) and the washer (7) with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
(4) Remove the bolts (4) and (6) and the washers (3) and (7).
(5) Remove the navigation light (5) from the glazing panel (1).
(6) Put the navigation light (5) into a BAG - ANTISTATIC and put it in safe storage.
