A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the brake pedals.
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position at the access door 811.
(4) Make sure that the access door 811 is open.
Subtask 32-43-47-865-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the brake pedals.

A. Installation of the Transmitter Unit
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Install the transmitter unit (3) on its support.
(4) Install the bolts (4), washers (11) and nuts (12).
(5) Tighten the nuts (12).
(6) Safety the nuts (12) with the new AIPC 32-43-01-06-030 COTTER PINS (13).
(7) Align the rods (7) with the levers (2).
(8) Install the bolts (5), washers (8) and nuts (9).
(9) Tighten the nuts (9).
(10) Safety the nuts (9) with the new AIPC 32-42-01-06-010 COTTER PINS (10).
(11) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(12) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(13) Connect the electrical connectors (14) to the transmitter unit (3).
(14) Remove the 98A27901002000 PIN-RIGGING,RUDDER CONTROL (1).
Subtask 32-43-47-420-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.

(8) Install the bolts (5), washers (8) and nuts (9).
(9) Tighten the nuts (9).
(10) Safety the nuts (9) with the new AIPC 32-42-01-06-010 COTTER PINS (10).
(11) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(12) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(13) Connect the electrical connectors (14) to the transmitter unit (3).
(14) Remove the 98A27901002000 PIN-RIGGING,RUDDER CONTROL (1).

(15) Remove the 98A27901002000 PIN-RIGGING,RUDDER CONTROL (1).

(4) Install the bolts (4), washers (11) and nuts (12).
(5) Tighten the nuts (12).
(6) Safety the nuts (12) with the new AIPC 32-43-01-06-030 COTTER PINS (13) or AIPC 32-43-81-06-010 COTTER PINS (13).
(7) Align the rods (7) with the levers (2).
(8) Install the bolts (5), washers (8) and nuts (9).
(9) Tighten the nuts (9).
(10) Safety the nuts (9) with the new AIPC 32-42-01-06-010 COTTER PINS (10) or AIPC 32-42-81-06-010 COTTER PINS (10).
(11) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(12) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(13) Connect the electrical connectors (14) to the transmitter unit (3).
(14) Do an electrical bonding test between the transmitter unit (3) and the aircraft structure (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-720-005).
(15) Remove the 98A27901002000 PIN-RIGGING,RUDDER CONTROL (1).
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

(1) Do a check of the adjustment of the rods of the alternate brake-pedal transmitter-unit (103GG) (Ref. AMM TASK 27-21-00-820-803).
(2) Do the operational test of the alternate braking system (Ref. AMM TASK 32-43-00-710-001).

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).

(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the access door 811.
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) De-energize the ground service network (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
