E. Drain the Alternate Brake Reservoir (2624GM)
(1) Put a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) near the alternate brake reservoir (2624GM).
(2) Remove the plug (33) and the packing (32) from the valve (31).
(3) Turn the knob fully counterclockwise to make sure that the striker is fully rearward. Install the FILLER ADAPTOR TMHDI43-32-00 or equivalent on the valve (31).
(4) Connect a HOSE - BLEED on the filler adaptor and put the other end in the container.
(5) Use the knob on the filler adaptor to move the striker forward to bleed the alternate brake reservoir (2624GM).
(7) Remove the bleed hose, the filler adaptor and the container.
(8) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(9) Install the packing (32) and the plug (33) on the valve (31).
4. Procedure(1) Put a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) near the alternate brake reservoir (2624GM).
(2) Remove the plug (33) and the packing (32) from the valve (31).
(3) Turn the knob fully counterclockwise to make sure that the striker is fully rearward. Install the FILLER ADAPTOR TMHDI43-32-00 or equivalent on the valve (31).
