WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
1. Reason for the JobThis procedure is only applicable when the main door assy was removed for access. For the applicable procedure to install the main door assy after replacement, Ref. TASK 32-22-11-400-001.

Subtask 32-22-11-860-052-A
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) In the cockpit, on the panel 400VU, make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is (are) in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear control lever.
(2) Make sure that the SAFETY BARRIER(S) are in position.
(3) Make sure that the NLG doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-00-010-001).
(4) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position below the applicable NLG door.
4. Procedure(1) In the cockpit, on the panel 400VU, make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is (are) in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear control lever.
(2) Make sure that the SAFETY BARRIER(S) are in position.
(3) Make sure that the NLG doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-00-010-001).
(4) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position below the applicable NLG door.
Subtask 32-22-11-420-057-A
A. Installation of the Main Door Assy
(1) Make sure that the bushes (9), (21) and (11) are in the correct position.
(2) Lubricate the bolts (6) and (10) with Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) or Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) .
(3) Put the door (1) in position. Install the bolts (6) and (10).
(4) Install the nuts (4) and (14) with the washers (5) and (12).
(5) Tighten the nuts (4) and (14) and safety them with the new AIPC 32-22-01-02-010 COTTER PINS (3) or AIPC 32-22-81-02-030 COTTER PIN (3) and the new AIPC 32-22-01-02-010 COTTER PIN (13) or AIPC 32-22-81-02-030 COTTER PIN (13).
(6) Install the bolts (8), the bonding braids (7) and the nuts (2). Tighten the nuts (2).
(b) Apply a thin layer of Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) or Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) to the bolt (20).
(c) Put the rod (15) in position.
(d) Install the bolt (20), the washer (18) and the nut (16).
(e) TORQUE the nut (16) to between 0.61 and 0.6 m.daN (53.98 and 53.10 lbf.in )
.
(f) Make sure that the gap A is more than or equal to 0.1 mm (0.0039 in.).
(g) If the gap A is correct, safety the nut (16) with the new AIPC 32-22-11-01-180 COTTER PIN (17).
1 If you install a new bolt (20), drill a hole of 2 +0.1 mm or -0.1 mm (0.0787 +0.0039 in. or -0.0039 in.).
2 Make sure that you do not decrease the strength of the screw (specially for offset drilling, the diameter of the bore must be correct, deburr lightly).
3 Put grease in the hole of the nut when you install steel bolts to prevent corrosion.
(h) If the gap A is not correct:
1 Remove the nut (16) and the washer (18).
2 Remove the bolt (20) and disconnect the rod (15).
3 Remove the bush (19) and install the new AIPC 32-22-11-01-220 BUSH (19).
4 Apply a thin layer of Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) or Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) to the bolt (20).
5 Put the rod (15) in position.
6 Install the bolt (20), the washer (18) and the nut (16).
7 TORQUE the nut (16) to between 0.61 and 0.6 m.daN (53.98 and 53.10 lbf.in )
and safety it with the AIPC 32-22-11-01-180 COTTER PIN (17).
Subtask 32-22-11-410-055-A (1) Make sure that the bushes (9), (21) and (11) are in the correct position.
(2) Lubricate the bolts (6) and (10) with Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) or Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) .
(3) Put the door (1) in position. Install the bolts (6) and (10).
(4) Install the nuts (4) and (14) with the washers (5) and (12).
(5) Tighten the nuts (4) and (14) and safety them with the new AIPC 32-22-01-02-010 COTTER PINS (3) or AIPC 32-22-81-02-030 COTTER PIN (3) and the new AIPC 32-22-01-02-010 COTTER PIN (13) or AIPC 32-22-81-02-030 COTTER PIN (13).
(6) Install the bolts (8), the bonding braids (7) and the nuts (2). Tighten the nuts (2).
CAUTION:
CONNECT THE AFT ROD TO THE LEFT DOOR AND THE FWD ROD TO THE RIGHT DOOR.
IF YOU CONNECT THE RODS TO THE WRONG DOORS, THE RODS WILL BECOME DAMAGED DURING OPERATION OF THE DOORS.
(7) Connect the applicable NLG main-door control-rod NOTE: Do not change the adjustment of the control rod (15).
(a) Make sure that the bush (19) is in position. (b) Apply a thin layer of Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) or Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) to the bolt (20).
(c) Put the rod (15) in position.
(d) Install the bolt (20), the washer (18) and the nut (16).
(e) TORQUE the nut (16) to between 0.61 and 0.6 m.daN (53.98 and 53.10 lbf.in )
. (f) Make sure that the gap A is more than or equal to 0.1 mm (0.0039 in.).

B. Preparation for the Test
(1) Lubricate the NLG doors (Ref. AMM TASK 12-22-32-640-002).
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) Close the NLG doors:
(a) Operate the NLG doors manually to make sure that there is no interference in the linkage.
(b) Close the NLG doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-00-410-001).
Subtask 32-22-11-710-050-A (1) Lubricate the NLG doors (Ref. AMM TASK 12-22-32-640-002).
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) Close the NLG doors:
(a) Operate the NLG doors manually to make sure that there is no interference in the linkage.
(b) Close the NLG doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-00-410-001).
C. Operational Test
(1) Do a full door close/door open cycle (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-00-010-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-00-410-001).
(2) Make sure that the door operation is correct.
5. Close-up(1) Do a full door close/door open cycle (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-00-010-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-00-410-001).

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) Remove the safety barriers.
(2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
