C. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below aft cargo-compartment door 826.
(2) Open aft cargo-compartment door 826 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-003).

4. Procedure
Subtask 31-17-11-020-050-A

A. Removal of Control Panel 2024VU
(1) Hold the control panel (4) and remove the screws (5) and the washers (6).
(2) Carefully pull the control panel (4) out from the structure (2) until you have access to the electrical connector (1).
(3) Disconnect the electrical connector (1).
(4) Put a CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connector (1).
(5) Remove and discard the gasket (3).
(6) Remove the control panel (4).
