(b) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position after you open the forwward cargo-compartment door.
(c) Set the cargo-compartment light switch 6LU to ON.
(d) Remove partition 131NW 132PW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-001).

(a) Open the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(b) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position after you open the aft cargo-compartment door.
(c) Set the cargo-compartment light switch 8LU to ON.
(d) Remove partition 151BW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-000-001).
(3) FOR [40DW] (SENSOR,TEMPERATURE-), [61DW] (SENSOR,TEMPERATURE-)
(a) Open the bulk cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-006).
(b) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position after you open the bulk cargo-compartment door.
(c) Set the cargo-compartment light switch 8LU to ON.
(d) Remove partition 161DW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-001).

Open the FWD cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-003).
Set cargo-compartment light switch 6LU to ON.
Remove partitions 131NW and 132PW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-001).

(2) FOR [40DW] (SENSOR,TEMPERATURE-), [70DW] (SENSOR,TEMPERATURE-)

Open the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-003).
Set cargo-compartment light switch 8LU to ON.
Remove partitions 161CW and 161DW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-001).

C. Get Access
(1) FOR [40DW] (SENSOR,TEMPERATURE-), [70DW] (SENSOR,TEMPERATURE-), [90DW] (SENSOR,TEMPERATURE-), [110DW] (SENSOR,TEMPERATURE-)
(a) Open the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(b) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position after you open the aft cargo-compartment door.
(c) Set the cargo-compartment light switch 8LU to ON position.
(2) FOR [90DW] (SENSOR,TEMPERATURE-), [40DW] (SENSOR,TEMPERATURE-), [70DW] (SENSOR,TEMPERATURE-)
(a) Remove partition 161DW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-001) and sidewall panel 161CW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-003).
(3) FOR [110DW] (SENSOR,TEMPERATURE-)
(a) Remove sidewall panel 151CW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-000-003).

4. Procedure
Subtask 30-73-19-020-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Removal of the Temperature Sensor
(1) Remove and discard the cable ties which attach the electrical wires of the clamp sensor assembly (3).
(2) Carefully remove the adhesive tape (7) that attach the longitudinal seam of the insulation (6) in the area of the clamp (4) and clamp sensor assembly (3).
(3) Loosen the insulation (6) around the clamp (4) and the clamp sensor assembly (3) to get access to the assembly.

CAUTION: MAKE MATCH MARKS ON ALL THE ELECTRICAL WIRES BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THEM. INCORRECT CONNECTION OF WIRES WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

(4) Disconnect the electrical connections (2) with an ELEC CONTACTS INSERTION EXTRACTION TOOL M15570-20.
(5) Put the CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connector(s).
(6) Loosen the screws (1) and remove the clamp sensor assembly (3) and the clamp (4) from the water line (5).
