B. Installation of the Anti-ice Duct No. 5
(1) Put the duct (11) and a new AIPC 30-21-49-80-130 SEAL (10) and a new AIPC 30-21-51-80-020 SEAL (12) (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-13-911-010) between the anti-ice valve (7) and the cowl, in the correct position for installation.
(a) Make sure that the couplings (8) and (9) are in the correct position so that they do not touch the adjacent components or fan cowl door when closed.
(3) TORQUE the coupling nuts (8) and (9) to between 55 and 45 lbf.in (0.62 and 0.51 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013).

(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013). C. Check of the Anti-ice Duct Installation
(1) Make sure that the segments are correctly installed in the pylon housing and the NAI pylon duct stays aligned to the center of the fire bulkhead area, (see Detail C) given in the rigging of the anti ice ducts procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 30-21-49-820-001).
(a) If the segments are not correctly installed in the pylon housing and/or the NAI pylon duct is not aligned to the center of the fire bulkhead area:
(a) If one of these clearances is not correct:
(b) If one of these clearances is not correct, go to Step (4).
(4) Do the rigging of the anti-ice ducts (Ref. AMM TASK 30-21-49-820-001).
(5) Do a leak test at the couplings (8) and (9) (Ref. AMM TASK 30-21-49-790-010).
