B. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the ENG section of the maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC system 1(2).
Subtask 30-21-49-010-092-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the ENG section of the maintenance panel 50VU:

C. Get Access
(1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040):

(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M (3 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position.

Subtask 30-21-49-020-065-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Anti-ice Ducts
(1) Remove the bolts (55), the washers (60), and the nuts (65) that connect the support links to the bracket of the forward anti-ice duct (80).
(2) Disconnect the hose (35) and the hose (10) from the tube (15).
(3) Remove the couplings (70) and the seals (75) that attach the forward anti-ice duct (80) to:
(a) the rear anti-ice duct (85),
(b) the anti-ice valve 4000DN (5).
(4) Remove the forward anti-ice duct (80) with the tube (15) attached to it.
(5) Remove the couplings (70) and the seal (75) that attach the rear anti-ice duct (85) to the upper anti-ice duct (90).
(6) Discard the seal (75).
(7) Remove the bolts (95), the washers (100), and the nuts (105) that attach the flange of the rear anti-ice duct (85) to the fireshield.
(8) Remove the rear anti-ice duct (85) from the engine.
(9) Cut and remove the lockwire from the bolts (110).
(10) Remove the bolts (110) that attach the upper anti-ice duct (90) to the engine.
(11) Remove and discard the seal (115).
(12) Remove the upper anti-ice duct (90) from the engine.
(13) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(1) Remove the bolts (55), the washers (60), and the nuts (65) that connect the support links to the bracket of the forward anti-ice duct (80).
(2) Disconnect the hose (35) and the hose (10) from the tube (15).
(3) Remove the couplings (70) and the seals (75) that attach the forward anti-ice duct (80) to:
(a) the rear anti-ice duct (85),
(b) the anti-ice valve 4000DN (5).
(4) Remove the forward anti-ice duct (80) with the tube (15) attached to it.
(5) Remove the couplings (70) and the seal (75) that attach the rear anti-ice duct (85) to the upper anti-ice duct (90).
(6) Discard the seal (75).
(7) Remove the bolts (95), the washers (100), and the nuts (105) that attach the flange of the rear anti-ice duct (85) to the fireshield.
(8) Remove the rear anti-ice duct (85) from the engine.
(9) Cut and remove the lockwire from the bolts (110).
(10) Remove the bolts (110) that attach the upper anti-ice duct (90) to the engine.
(11) Remove and discard the seal (115).
(12) Remove the upper anti-ice duct (90) from the engine.
(13) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
