WARNING:
PUT THE SAFETY DEVICES AND THE WARNING NOTICES IN POSITION BEFORE YOU START A TASK ON OR NEAR:
- THE FLIGHT CONTROLS
- THE FLIGHT CONTROL SURFACES
- THE LANDING GEAR AND THE RELATED DOORS
- COMPONENTS THAT MOVE.

WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the Blue hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(2) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Blue hydraulic system:
(4) Make sure that the RAT is extended (Ref. AMM TASK 29-22-00-869-005).
Subtask 29-22-51-865-098-A (1) Make sure that the Blue hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(2) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Blue hydraulic system:
- in the cockpit on the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel,
- on the ground service panel of the Blue hydraulic system.
(4) Make sure that the RAT is extended (Ref. AMM TASK 29-22-00-869-005).
B. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

Subtask 29-22-51-420-066-A
A. Installation of the Interlock Proximity Switch
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Install the interlock proximity switch (2) with the bolts (7), the washers (6), the shim (4) and the nuts (3). Refer to the marks on the attachment bracket to find the correct installation position.
(4) TORQUE the nuts (3) to between 0.249 and 0.226 m.daN (22.04 and 20.00 lbf.in ).
(5) Remove the protective caps from the electrical connectors.
(6) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(7) Connect the electrical connector (5).
Subtask 29-22-51-865-099-A (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Install the interlock proximity switch (2) with the bolts (7), the washers (6), the shim (4) and the nuts (3). Refer to the marks on the attachment bracket to find the correct installation position.

. (5) Remove the protective caps from the electrical connectors.

(7) Connect the electrical connector (5).
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Adjustment of the Interlock Proximity Switch and Test
(1) Do the adjustment of the interlock proximity switch (Ref. AMM TASK 29-22-00-820-005).
(2) Do an operational test of the manual deployment and the retraction of the RAT (Ref. AMM TASK 29-22-00-710-007).
