Removal of the Pilot Valves of the Leakage-Measurement Solenoid Valves

MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE FLIGHT CONTROLS SURFACES ARE CLEAR. MOVEMENT OF FLIGHT CONTROLS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.

(b) Depressurize the Green hydraulic system and put it in the maintenance configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(c) Depressurize the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).

(a) Depressurize the Blue hydraulic system and put it in the maintenance configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(b) Depressurize the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).

(a) Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic system and put it in the maintenance configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).

D. Safety Precautions
(1) Put a CONTAINER - HYDRAULIC FLUID RESISTANT in position below the replacement pilot valve to collect hydraulic fluid.
(2) FOR [1150GP]
(a) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system:
(a) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Blue hydraulic system:
(a) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:
4. Procedure(1) Put a CONTAINER - HYDRAULIC FLUID RESISTANT in position below the replacement pilot valve to collect hydraulic fluid.
(2) FOR [1150GP]
(a) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system:
- In the cockpit on the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel
- On the ground service panel of the Green hydraulic system.
(a) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Blue hydraulic system:
- In the cockpit on the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel
- On the ground service panel of the Blue hydraulic system.
(a) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:
- In the cockpit on the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel
- On the ground service panel of the Yellow hydraulic system.

A. Removal of the Pilot Valve
(1) Disconnect the electrical connector (6).
(2) Put a CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connector (6) and on the receptacle.
(5) Remove the pilot valve (3).
(6) Remove the packings (4).
(7) Discard the packings.
(8) Install a PLUG - BLANKING in the open ports.
(1) Disconnect the electrical connector (6).
(2) Put a CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connector (6) and on the receptacle.
WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
(3) Cut and remove the lockwire (8). CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR(S) IS(ARE) DISCONNECTED BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THE BONDING STRAP(S).
(4) Hold the pilot valve (3) and remove the two bolts (1), the washer (2) and the bonding strap (7). (5) Remove the pilot valve (3).
(6) Remove the packings (4).
(7) Discard the packings.
(8) Install a PLUG - BLANKING in the open ports.
