A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(2) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to pressurize the hydraulic systems:
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(4) Make sure that the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(5) Make sure that the access doors 198CB and 198DB are open.
(6) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position below the service panel of the Yellow hydraulic system.
(7) Make sure that the CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) is in position below the hydraulic connections of the ground connectors.
4. Procedure(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(2) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to pressurize the hydraulic systems:
- in the cockpit on the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(4) Make sure that the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(5) Make sure that the access doors 198CB and 198DB are open.
(6) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position below the service panel of the Yellow hydraulic system.
(7) Make sure that the CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) is in position below the hydraulic connections of the ground connectors.
Subtask 29-13-63-420-050-A
A. Installation of the Self-Sealing Ground Connectors
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the union nuts (6) and (11) engage correctly with ground connectors (5) and (10).
(4) Remove the old sealant from the surface of the mounting flanges (4) and (9) and the ground service panel (3).
(5) Install the ground connectors (5) and (10) in the mounting flanges (4) and (9).
(6) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Fillet Structure (Material No.06AEB2) to the mating surface of the mounting flanges (4) and (9).
(7) Remove the blanking plugs from the end-fittings (1) and (8) and the ground connectors (5) and (10).
(8) Install the ground connectors (5) and (10) with the mounting flanges (4) and (9) at the ground service panel (3).
(9) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) to the bolts (7).
(10) Install the bolts (7) and the nuts (2).
(11) TORQUE the nuts (2) to between 0.48 and 0.37 m.daN (42.48 and 32.74 lbf.in )

(12) Make sure that the line-end fittings (1) and (8) are serviceable.
(13) Connect the line-end fittings (1) and (8) to the ground connectors (5) and (10).
(14) TORQUE the line-end fitting (1) to between 10.7 and 9.7 m.daN (78.91 and 71.53 lbf.ft )

(15) TORQUE the line-end fitting (8) to between 10.7 and 9.7 m.daN (78.91 and 71.53 lbf.ft )
.
(16) Apply Polyurethane Coating-- Abrasion Resistant Structure (Material No.04PAD2) to the surface of the mounting flanges (4) and (9).

. (16) Apply Polyurethane Coating-- Abrasion Resistant Structure (Material No.04PAD2) to the surface of the mounting flanges (4) and (9).
B. Leak Test
(1) Connect a ALT29000001 HYD GRND PWR UNIT3000 to the Yellow hydraulic system.
(2) Pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-002).
(3) Do a check of the ground connectors (5) and (10) for leaks. No leaks are permitted.
(4) Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic system
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002).
(5) Disconnect the hydraulic ground cart.
(6) Make sure that, before you install the union nuts (6) and (11), no hydraulic fluid comes out of the ground connectors (5) and (10).
5. Close-up(1) Connect a ALT29000001 HYD GRND PWR UNIT3000 to the Yellow hydraulic system.
(2) Pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-002).
(3) Do a check of the ground connectors (5) and (10) for leaks. No leaks are permitted.
(4) Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic system
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002).
(5) Disconnect the hydraulic ground cart.
(6) Make sure that, before you install the union nuts (6) and (11), no hydraulic fluid comes out of the ground connectors (5) and (10).
Subtask 29-13-63-860-052-A
A. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
(1) Remove the container from below the hydraulic connections.
(2) Remove the access platform from below the ground service panel of the Yellow hydraulic system.
(3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(4) Close the access doors 198CB and 198DB.
(5) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).

(3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
