A. Removal of the Hydraulic Pressure Line from the Pylon to the Yellow Hydraulic Pump
(2) Disconnect the hydraulic line (2) from the hydraulic pump (1) as follows:
(a) use a WRENCH - STANDARD to hold the fitting on the hydraulic pump (1).
(b) Use a second WRENCH - STANDARD to disconnect the hydraulic line (2) from the fitting.
(c) Let the hydraulic line (2) drain into the CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL).
(3) Disconnect the fitting on the hydraulic line (2) at the connection to the pressure transducer (10).
(4) Disconnect the hydraulic line (2) from the engine at three locations as follows:
(a) Remove the bolts (4), (5) and (8) from each of the three clamps (14), (6) and (7).
(b) Remove the three clamps (14), (6) and (7) from the support brackets (13), (11) and (9).
(5) Disconnect the upper fitting on the hydraulic line (2) from the pylon connector (3).
(6) Remove the hydraulic line (2) from the engine.
(7) Install COVER - PROTECTION and CAP - PROTECTION on the all open ports, open tubes, open hoses and disconnected connectors.
WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE CLOTHING WHEN YOU USE HYDRAULIC FLUID. HYDRAULIC FLUID CAN CAUSE SKIN IRRITATION.
CAUTION:
USE TWO WRENCHES TO REMOVE OR INSTALL THE TUBE COUPLING NUTS:
- ONE WRENCH TO HOLD THE UNION, AND
- ONE TO LOOSEN OR TIGHTEN THE COUPLING NUT.
CAUTION:
DO NOT LET HYDRAULIC FLUID FALL ON THE ENGINE. UNWANTED HYDRAULIC FLUID MUST BE REMOVED IMMEDIATELY WITH A CLEAN LINT FREE CLOTH. THE FLUID CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SURFACE PROTECTION AND TO SOME PARTS.
(1) Put a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) in position below the hydraulic pump (1). (2) Disconnect the hydraulic line (2) from the hydraulic pump (1) as follows:
