Removal of the Engine 2 Thrust-Reverser Hydraulic Supply Hoses
WARNING:
OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.
WARNING:
DO NOT TOUCH THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM COMPONENTS FOR A SHORT TIME AFTER THE ENGINE IS SHUTDOWN. THE ENGINE COMPONENTS STAY HOT FOR SOME TIME AND CAN CAUSE INJURY.
CAUTION:
DO NOT LET HYDRAULIC FLUID FALL ON THE ENGINE. UNWANTED HYDRAULIC FLUID MUST BE REMOVED IMMEDIATELY WITH A CLEAN LINT FREE CLOTH. THE FLUID CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SURFACE PROTECTION AND TO SOME PARTS.

Subtask 29-13-49-860-061-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002)
(2) Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(3) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:
Subtask 29-13-49-941-062-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration.

(2) Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(3) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:
- on the ground service panel 198CB.
B. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:

(6) Put a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the hose (2) to collect the remaining fluid.
Subtask 29-13-49-010-062-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
- put WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(3) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:
- in the cockpit, on the HYD section of the overhead panel 40VU.
- make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(6) Put a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the hose (2) to collect the remaining fluid.
C. Get Access
(1) Open the left fan-cowl doors 447AL 448AR (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position at the engine.
4. Procedure(1) Open the left fan-cowl doors 447AL 448AR (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position at the engine.
Subtask 29-13-49-020-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Hydraulic Supply Hoses
(1) Remove the screw (20), the washer (25), the nut (60) and the clamps (3) and (4).
These items attach the hoses (5) and (10) to the bracket.
(2) Disconnect the hoses (5), (10) and (30) from the hydraulic control unit and the pylon tube.
(3) Put the COVER - BLANKING on the disconnected hoses (5), (10) and (30), the hydraulic control unit and the pylon tube.
(4) Remove the hoses (5) and (10).
(5) Remove the screws (20), the washers (25), and the clamps (15).
These items attach the hoses (30) and (35) to the brackets.
(6) Disconnect the hoses (30) and (35) from the interface bracket (left and right side).
(8) Remove the hoses (30) and (35).
(9) Remove the screws (20), the washers (25), and the clamps (40) and (45).
These items attach the hoses (50) and (55) to the brackets.
(10) Disconnect the hoses (50) and (55) from the interface bracket (left and right side).
(11) Put the blanking covers on the disconnected hoses (50) and (55), and the interface brackets.
(1) Remove the screw (20), the washer (25), the nut (60) and the clamps (3) and (4).
These items attach the hoses (5) and (10) to the bracket.
(2) Disconnect the hoses (5), (10) and (30) from the hydraulic control unit and the pylon tube.
(3) Put the COVER - BLANKING on the disconnected hoses (5), (10) and (30), the hydraulic control unit and the pylon tube.
(4) Remove the hoses (5) and (10).
(5) Remove the screws (20), the washers (25), and the clamps (15).
These items attach the hoses (30) and (35) to the brackets.
(6) Disconnect the hoses (30) and (35) from the interface bracket (left and right side).
NOTE: Only the left side for the hose (30).
(7) Put the blanking covers on the disconnected hoses (30) and (35), and the interface brackets. (8) Remove the hoses (30) and (35).
(9) Remove the screws (20), the washers (25), and the clamps (40) and (45).
These items attach the hoses (50) and (55) to the brackets.
(10) Disconnect the hoses (50) and (55) from the interface bracket (left and right side).
(11) Put the blanking covers on the disconnected hoses (50) and (55), and the interface brackets.
