WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO WORK ON THE ENGINE PARTS AFTER THE ENGINE SHUTDOWN. USE APPLICABLE THERMAL GLOVES. THE ENGINE PARTS CAN STAY HOT FOR ONE HOUR AFTER SHUTDOWN AND CAN BURN YOU.
WARNING:
DO NOT GET HYDRAULIC FLUID ON YOUR SKIN, IN YOUR EYES OR IN YOUR MOUTH. HYDRAULIC FLUID IS POISONOUS AND CAN GO THROUGH YOUR SKIN AND INTO YOUR BODY. FLUSH HYDRAULIC FLUID FROM YOUR EYES, MOUTH OR SKIN WITH WATER. GET MEDICAL AID IF YOU GET HYDRAULIC FLUID IN YOUR EYES OR MOUTH.
CAUTION:
DO NOT LET HYDRAULIC FLUID FALL ON THE ENGINE. UNWANTED HYDRAULIC FLUID MUST BE REMOVED IMMEDIATELY WITH A CLEAN LINT FREE CLOTH. THE FLUID CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SURFACE PROTECTION AND TO SOME PARTS.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-24-00-864-001).
(2) Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic reservoir is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(3) On ground service panel 198CB:
(6) Make sure that the fan cowls are open:
(a) FOR [1000EM2] (ENGINE-2)

Subtask 29-13-43-941-060-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-24-00-864-001).
(2) Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic reservoir is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(3) On ground service panel 198CB:
- Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is (are) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system.
- Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is (are) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic reservoir.
(6) Make sure that the fan cowls are open:
(a) FOR [1000EM2] (ENGINE-2)

B. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(3) In the cockpit, on the HYD section of overhead panel 40VU:
(6) Make sure that a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) is in position below the DPI.
4. Procedure(1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
- Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is (are) in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(3) In the cockpit, on the HYD section of overhead panel 40VU:
- Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is (are) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system.
- Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(6) Make sure that a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) is in position below the DPI.
Subtask 29-13-43-420-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the DPI
(1) Install the new AIPC 29-13-43-02-060 RETAINER (3), new AIPC 29-13-43-02-070 PACKING (6) and new AIPC 29-13-43-02-080 PACKING (4) on the DPI (2).
(2) Apply Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) to the retainer (3), packings (4) and (6) and threads on the DPI (2).
(4) Install the DPI (2) in the head (1) and tighten with your hand.
(5) TORQUE the DPI (2) to between 130 and 110 lbf.in (1.47 and 1.24 m.daN )

Subtask 29-13-43-710-056-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Install the new AIPC 29-13-43-02-060 RETAINER (3), new AIPC 29-13-43-02-070 PACKING (6) and new AIPC 29-13-43-02-080 PACKING (4) on the DPI (2).
(2) Apply Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) to the retainer (3), packings (4) and (6) and threads on the DPI (2).
CAUTION:
THE DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE INDICATOR (DPI) AND SPRING ARE A MATCHED PAIR.
(3) Install the spring (5) in the head (1). (4) Install the DPI (2) in the head (1) and tighten with your hand.
(5) TORQUE the DPI (2) to between 130 and 110 lbf.in (1.47 and 1.24 m.daN )
. WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
(6) Safety the DPI (2) with the lockwire (Material No.V02-146) (Ref. AMM TASK 70-40-11-911-012). B. Operational Test
(1) Do an operational test of the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-13-00-710-002).
(2) During the dry motoring of the engine, make sure that:

- There are no leaks from the DPI and that it is not extended.

(2) Remove the container.
(3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.

B. Close Access
(1) Close the fan cowls:
