Removal of the HP Manifold of the Blue Hydraulic System
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.

B. Get Access
(1) Open the access door 197EB.
(2) Open the left main door of the main gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(3) Open the access door 195BB.

(2) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Blue hydraulic system:
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(4) Depressurize the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(5) Put a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the HP manifold of the Blue hydraulic system and the ground leakage-measurement manifold (2146GM) to collect unwanted hydraulic fluid.

OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.
(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002). (2) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Blue hydraulic system:
- In the cockpit on the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel
- On the ground service panel of the Blue hydraulic system.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(4) Depressurize the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(5) Put a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the HP manifold of the Blue hydraulic system and the ground leakage-measurement manifold (2146GM) to collect unwanted hydraulic fluid.
C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(2) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Blue hydraulic system:
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(4) Depressurize the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(5) Put a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the HP manifold (2111GM) and the power accumulator (2070GM) of the Blue hydraulic system to collect unwanted hydraulic fluid.
(6) Put the CONTAINER 1 L (1/4 USGAL) below the hydraulic connections of the Blue hydraulic system to collect unwanted hydraulic fluid.
4. ProcedureWARNING:
OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.
(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002). (2) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Blue hydraulic system:
- In the cockpit on the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel
- On the ground service panel of the Blue hydraulic system.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(4) Depressurize the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(5) Put a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the HP manifold (2111GM) and the power accumulator (2070GM) of the Blue hydraulic system to collect unwanted hydraulic fluid.
(6) Put the CONTAINER 1 L (1/4 USGAL) below the hydraulic connections of the Blue hydraulic system to collect unwanted hydraulic fluid.
Subtask 29-12-14-020-050-B
A. Removal of the HP Manifold
(2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(3) Cut and remove the tie wraps as necessary.
(4) Remove the cable clamps as necessary.
(5) Loosen the pipe end-fittings (47), (74) and remove the pipe (48).
(6) Loosen the pipe end-fittings (59), (75) and remove the pipe (60).
(7) Loosen the pipe end-fittings (56), (70) and remove the pipe (57).
(8) Loosen the pipe end-fitting (52) and disconnect the pipe (53) from the tee-connector (67).
(9) Loosen the pipe end-fitting (79) and disconnect the pipe (53) from the union (80) of the Blue power accumulator 2070GM.
(10) Remove the pipe (53).
(11) Loosen the tee-connector end-fitting (65) and the pipe end-fitting (78).
(12) Remove the pipe (66) and the tee-connector (67).
(13) Loosen the pipe end-fitting (2) and disconnect the tee-connector (1) from the union (3).
(14) Remove the nuts (42) and the bolts (41).
(15) Hold the manifold (26) and remove the bolts (61) and the washers (62).
(16) Remove the manifold (26).
(17) Install a PLUG - BLANKING on the disconnected line ends and the manifold ports.
CAUTION:
USE A SECOND WRENCH TO APPLY COUNTERTORQUE TO THE UNION WHEN YOU DISCONNECT/CONNECT HYDRAULIC LINES ON UNIONS. IF YOU DO NOT USE THE SECOND WRENCH, THERE IS A RISK THAT YOU WILL LOOSEN OR TIGHTEN THE UNION TOO MUCH.
(1) Disconnect the electrical connectors (20), (29), (32) and (33). (2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(3) Cut and remove the tie wraps as necessary.
(4) Remove the cable clamps as necessary.
(5) Loosen the pipe end-fittings (47), (74) and remove the pipe (48).
(6) Loosen the pipe end-fittings (59), (75) and remove the pipe (60).
(7) Loosen the pipe end-fittings (56), (70) and remove the pipe (57).
(8) Loosen the pipe end-fitting (52) and disconnect the pipe (53) from the tee-connector (67).
(9) Loosen the pipe end-fitting (79) and disconnect the pipe (53) from the union (80) of the Blue power accumulator 2070GM.
(10) Remove the pipe (53).
(11) Loosen the tee-connector end-fitting (65) and the pipe end-fitting (78).
(12) Remove the pipe (66) and the tee-connector (67).
(13) Loosen the pipe end-fitting (2) and disconnect the tee-connector (1) from the union (3).
(14) Remove the nuts (42) and the bolts (41).
(15) Hold the manifold (26) and remove the bolts (61) and the washers (62).
(16) Remove the manifold (26).
(17) Install a PLUG - BLANKING on the disconnected line ends and the manifold ports.
