(3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the MLG doors.

BEFORE YOU DO WORK IN OR NEAR A FUEL TANK, MAKE SURE THAT YOU OBEY ALL THE SAFETY PROCEDURES. THIS WILL PREVENT INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.
(1) You must obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 28-10-00-910-001) when you do work in a fuel tank. (2) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.
(3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the MLG doors.
B. Fuel Configuration
(1) Defuel the center tank (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-001).
(2) Drain the remaining fuel from the center tank (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-003).

D. Get Access
(1) Open the LH MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(2) Make sure that the 460005835 SLEEVE - GROUND LOCK is installed on the LH MLG door actuating-cylinder.
(3) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position at zone 148.
(4) Remove the protective cover from the ACT-Equipment Support Door (Ref. AMM TASK 57-17-11-000-003).
(5) Remove the refuel valve 41QU (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-51-000-004).
4. Procedure(1) Open the LH MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(2) Make sure that the 460005835 SLEEVE - GROUND LOCK is installed on the LH MLG door actuating-cylinder.
(3) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position at zone 148.
(4) Remove the protective cover from the ACT-Equipment Support Door (Ref. AMM TASK 57-17-11-000-003).
(5) Remove the refuel valve 41QU (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-51-000-004).

A. Removal of the Refuel Valve Canister 164QM
(1) Remove the nut (7), the screw (5), the washer (6) and disconnect the bonding straps (3) and (4).
(2) Remove the bolts (8), the washers (9) and disconnect the elbow (10).
(3) Remove and discard the O-ring (11).
(4) Remove the bolts (1), the washers (16) and disconnect the adaptor (2).
(5) Remove and discard the O-ring (15).
(6) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(7) Remove the screws (14).
(8) Remove the refuel valve canister (12).
(9) Remove and discard the O-ring (13).
Subtask 28-25-52-020-055-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the nut (7), the screw (5), the washer (6) and disconnect the bonding straps (3) and (4).
(2) Remove the bolts (8), the washers (9) and disconnect the elbow (10).
(3) Remove and discard the O-ring (11).
(4) Remove the bolts (1), the washers (16) and disconnect the adaptor (2).
(5) Remove and discard the O-ring (15).
(6) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(7) Remove the screws (14).
(8) Remove the refuel valve canister (12).
(9) Remove and discard the O-ring (13).
A. Removal of Refuel Valve Canister 164QM
(1) Remove the nut (7), the washer (4), and the screw (3) and disconnect the bonding straps (5) and (6).
(2) Remove the bolts (8), the washers (9) and disconnect the elbow (10).
(3) Remove and discard the O-ring (11).
(4) Remove the bolts (1) and the washers (17) and disconnect the adaptor (2).
(5) Remove and discard the restrictor (16).
(6) Remove and discard the O-ring (15).
(7) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(8) Remove the screws (14).
(9) Remove the refuel valve canister (12).
(10) Remove and discard the O-ring (13).
(1) Remove the nut (7), the washer (4), and the screw (3) and disconnect the bonding straps (5) and (6).
(2) Remove the bolts (8), the washers (9) and disconnect the elbow (10).
(3) Remove and discard the O-ring (11).
(4) Remove the bolts (1) and the washers (17) and disconnect the adaptor (2).
(5) Remove and discard the restrictor (16).
(6) Remove and discard the O-ring (15).
(7) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(8) Remove the screws (14).
(9) Remove the refuel valve canister (12).
(10) Remove and discard the O-ring (13).
