(2) Put the AIPC 27-34-51-01-220 O-RING (2) and the AIPC 27-34-51-01-210 O-RING (3) in position on the servovalve (6).
(3) Put the servovalve (6) in position on the servocontrol actuator and hold it.
(4) Connection of the electrical sockets (1):
(a) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(b) Connect the electrical sockets (1).
(5) Install the washers (5) and the bolts (4) in the servovalve (6).
(6) TORQUE the bolts (4) to between 0.41 and 0.33 m.daN (36.28 and 29.20 lbf.in )
.
(7) Safety the bolts (4) with lockwire, corrosion resistant steel 0,6mm (0.027in).

WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE FLIGHT CONTROLS SURFACES ARE CLEAR. MOVEMENT OF FLIGHT CONTROLS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
WARNING:
PUT THE SAFETY DEVICES AND THE WARNING NOTICES IN POSITION BEFORE YOU START A TASK ON OR NEAR:
- THE FLIGHT CONTROLS
- THE FLIGHT CONTROL SURFACES
- THE LANDING GEAR AND THE RELATED DOORS
- COMPONENTS THAT MOVE.
WARNING:

CAUTION:
DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SURFACES. THE COMPONENTS ARE MADE OF CARBONFIBER REINFORCED PLASTIC.
NOTE: The installation of the servocontrol actuator 34CE1 servovalve is given. The installation of the servocontrol actuator 34CE2, 34CE3 and 34CE4 servovalves are the same.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the elevator and the horizontal stabilizer controls are set to the neutral position.
(3) Make sure that the 98D27309001000 NEUTRAL SETTING TOOL - ELEVATOR is installed on the elevator.
(4) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001), (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-003).
(5) Make sure that hydraulic reservoirs are depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(6) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position in the flight compartment to tell persons not to operate the flight controls.
(7) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position to tell persons not to operate the hydraulic systems.
(8) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position at zone 334 and/or zone 344.
(9) Make sure that access panels 334DB and/or 344DB are open (Ref. AMM TASK 55-13-11-000-001).
Subtask 27-34-51-865-077-A (1) Make sure that the elevator and the horizontal stabilizer controls are set to the neutral position.
NOTE: The use of the Neutral Setting Tool (98D27309001000) is optional. You can use any other tool to align the elevator to neutral position during the installation of the Servovalve.
(2) Make sure that the 98D27903500000 PIN-SIDE STICK LOCKING are in position in the CAPT and F/O side stick controllers. (3) Make sure that the 98D27309001000 NEUTRAL SETTING TOOL - ELEVATOR is installed on the elevator.
(4) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001), (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-003).
(5) Make sure that hydraulic reservoirs are depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(6) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position in the flight compartment to tell persons not to operate the flight controls.
(7) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position to tell persons not to operate the hydraulic systems.
(8) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position at zone 334 and/or zone 344.
(9) Make sure that access panels 334DB and/or 344DB are open (Ref. AMM TASK 55-13-11-000-001).

WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
A. Installation of the Servocontrol Actuator Servovalve NOTE: Make sure that the servocontrol is in the neutral position to prevent damage to the servovalve feedback ball-probe.
(1) Apply Synthetic Ester base Grease-General Purpose Low Temp - (Material No.03HBD9) to the bolts (4). (2) Put the AIPC 27-34-51-01-220 O-RING (2) and the AIPC 27-34-51-01-210 O-RING (3) in position on the servovalve (6).
(3) Put the servovalve (6) in position on the servocontrol actuator and hold it.
(4) Connection of the electrical sockets (1):
(a) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(b) Connect the electrical sockets (1).
(5) Install the washers (5) and the bolts (4) in the servovalve (6).
(6) TORQUE the bolts (4) to between 0.41 and 0.33 m.daN (36.28 and 29.20 lbf.in )
. (7) Safety the bolts (4) with lockwire, corrosion resistant steel 0,6mm (0.027in).
B. Remove Locking Devices
(1) Remove the 98D27903500000 PIN-SIDE STICK LOCKING from the CAPT and F/O side stick controllers.
(2) Remove the 98D27309001000 NEUTRAL SETTING TOOL - ELEVATOR from the elevator.
(a) Release the wing nut (6).
(b) Remove the T-handle screw (1) and the washer (2).
(c) Remove the set of bars (3) and plates (7) and (8).
(d) Install the T-handle screw (1) and the washer (2) in the stowage on the center plate (7).
(e) Tighten the wing nut (6).
Subtask 27-34-51-865-055-A (1) Remove the 98D27903500000 PIN-SIDE STICK LOCKING from the CAPT and F/O side stick controllers.
(2) Remove the 98D27309001000 NEUTRAL SETTING TOOL - ELEVATOR from the elevator.
