3. Job Set-up
Subtask 25-65-41-010-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT) adjacent to the passenger/crew door you will work from.
(2) Open the passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
(3) Remove the door frame linings as necessary.
(4) Loosen the thermal and acoustical insulation (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001) adajcent the drum unit (9).

Subtask 25-65-41-010-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT) adjacent to the door you will work from.
(2) Open the door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001) and/or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-002).
(3) Remove the door frame linings as necessary.
(4) Loosen the thermal and acoustical insulation (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001) adajcent the drum unit (9).

4. Procedure
Subtask 25-65-41-020-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Removal:
(1) Remove the attach screws (4) and the washers (5) from the strap guide support (6).
(2) Hold the loop end (14) and remove the strap guide support (6).
(3) Let the safety barrier strap (7) slowly retract into the drum unit (9).
(4) Support the drum unit (9) and remove the screws (11) and the washers (12).
(5) Remove the drum unit (9).
(6) If you replace the drum unit (9):
(a) Remove the screws (8).
(b) Remove and keep the base plate (13) from the drum unit (9).
(7) If you remove the latch hook (3):
(a) Remove the screws (1) and the washers (2).
(b) Remove the latch hook (3).

Subtask 25-65-41-020-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Removal:
(1) Remove the attach screws (4) and the washers (5) from the strap guide support (6).
(2) Hold the loop end (15) and remove the strap guide support (6).
(3) Let the safety barrier strap (7) slowly retract into the drum unit (9).
(4) Remove the housing (11).
(5) Support the drum unit (9) and remove the screws (12) and the washers (13).
(6) Remove the drum unit (9).
(7) If you replace the drum unit (9):
(a) Remove the screws (8).
(b) Remove and keep the base plate (14) from the drum unit (9).
(8) If you remove the latch hook (3):
(a) Remove the screws (1) and the washers (2).
(b) Remove the latch hook (3).
