3. Job Set-up

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
   (2) Make sure that the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door is opened (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
   (3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the opening of the applicable cargo-compartment door.
   (4) Make sure that the warning notice is in position at the applicable control panel of the cargo loading system.
   (5) Make sure that the light switch of the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment is in the "ON" position.

4. Procedure
Subtask 25-52-26-910-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Preparation for Installation
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) to the roller shaft (6).
Subtask 25-52-26-420-051-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. Installation of the Roller Assembly:
   (1) Put the roller assembly (1) in its correct installation position in the power drive unit (7).
   (2) Install the roller shaft (6) in the power drive unit (7) and the roller assembly (1).
   (3) Install the retained shims (5) on the roller shaft (6).
   (4) Install the stop disc (4).
   (5) Safety the roller shaft (6) with the retaining ring (3).

A. Install the related power drive unit (Ref. AMM TASK 25-52-26-400-001).

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
   (3) Close the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
   (4) Set the light switch to off.
   (5) Remove the access platform(s).
   (6) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
