(1) Remove the filler panel (Ref. AMM TASK 25-25-11-000-001).

4. Procedure

A. Replacement of the Handrail

Handrail ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Open the door (1) of the related overhead-stowage.
(2) Remove the handrail:
(a) Remove the section-hose (2) from the mounting rail (3) as necessary.
(b) Hold the handrail (4), remove the screws (6) and the washers (5).
(c) Remove the handrail (4).
(3) Install the handrail:
(a) Make sure that the section is correctly attached with Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) on the handrail (4).
(b) Carefully put the handrail (4) in position.
(c) Install the washers (5) and the screws (6).
(d) Install the section-hose (2) in the mounting rail (3) with the 98A25207503000 PULLEY ASSEMBLY - SEALING CORD.
(e) Move the pulley assembly forward and rearward to make sure that the section-hose (2) is not expanded.
(4) Close the door (1) of the related overhead-stowage.

A. Replacement of the Handrail

Handrail ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Remove the handrail:
(a) Remove the cover panel (2):

CAUTION: DO NOT USE TOO MUCH FORCE WHEN YOU REMOVE THE COVER AS THIS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE RETAINER.

1 Carefully disengage the cover (2) from the passenger service channel.
2 Carefully remove the cover (2) from the handrail (1).
(b) Hold the handrail (1), remove the screws (4) and the washers (3).
(c) Remove the handrail (1).
(2) Install the handrail:
(a) Carefully put the handrail (1) in position.
(b) Make sure that the tongue of the handrail (1) engages correctly into the groove of the overhead-stowage.
(c) Install the washers (3) and the screws (4).
(d) Install the cover panel (2):
1 Carefully install the cover (2) on the handrail (1).
2 Carefully engage the cover (2) on the passenger service channel.
(e) If installed, move the seat-row placard cover and the seat row placards to the new handrail (1) AIPC 11-42-25-.

5. Close-up

(2) Install the filler panel (Ref. AMM TASK 25-25-11-400-001).
