(1) Open the door of the related overhead stowage compartment.

(1) Remove the bin (Ref. AMM D/O 25-24-41-00) of the related overhead stowage compartment.
(2) Remove the passenger service unit (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-45-000-001) of the related overhead stowage compartment.
(3) Remove the emergency oxygen container (Ref. AMM TASK 35-21-41-000-001) of the related overhead stowage compartment.
(4) Remove the individual air outlet (Ref. AMM TASK 21-24-19-000-001) of the related overhead stowage compartment.
4. Procedure(1) Remove the bin (Ref. AMM D/O 25-24-41-00) of the related overhead stowage compartment.
(2) Remove the passenger service unit (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-45-000-001) of the related overhead stowage compartment.
(3) Remove the emergency oxygen container (Ref. AMM TASK 35-21-41-000-001) of the related overhead stowage compartment.
(4) Remove the individual air outlet (Ref. AMM TASK 21-24-19-000-001) of the related overhead stowage compartment.
Subtask 25-21-34-020-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of MCU(s) 55HP1 and/or 55HP2
(1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
(2) Release the fasteners (8) and remove the cover (7).
(3) Disconnect the electrical connectors:
(a) Release the spring latches (12).
(b) Disconnect the electrical connectors (1), (10) and (11).
(c) Remove the cap (2).
(d) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(4) Remove the screw (6) and the washer (5).
(5) Hold the MCU (9) tightly and remove the screws (4), the washers (3) and the MCU (9).
Subtask 25-21-34-020-050-E ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
(2) Release the fasteners (8) and remove the cover (7).
(3) Disconnect the electrical connectors:
(a) Release the spring latches (12).
(b) Disconnect the electrical connectors (1), (10) and (11).
(c) Remove the cap (2).
(d) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(4) Remove the screw (6) and the washer (5).
(5) Hold the MCU (9) tightly and remove the screws (4), the washers (3) and the MCU (9).
A. Removal of Master Control Unit (MCU) 55HP1 and/or 55HP2
(1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
(2) Release the fasteners (1) and remove the cover (2).
(3) Remove the clamps (4) and the duct (3) from the ducts (5).
(4) Put a PLUG - BLANKING on each disconnected duct.
(5) Release the fasteners (6) and remove the cover (7).
(6) Disconnect the electrical connectors:
(a) Release the spring latches (16).
(b) Disconnect the electrical connectors (8), (14) and (15).
(c) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(7) Remove the screw (9) and the washer (10).
(8) Hold the MCU (13) tightly and remove the screws (11), the washers (12) and the MCU (13).
Subtask 25-21-34-020-050-G ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
(2) Release the fasteners (1) and remove the cover (2).
(3) Remove the clamps (4) and the duct (3) from the ducts (5).

(5) Release the fasteners (6) and remove the cover (7).
(6) Disconnect the electrical connectors:
(a) Release the spring latches (16).
(b) Disconnect the electrical connectors (8), (14) and (15).
(c) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(7) Remove the screw (9) and the washer (10).
(8) Hold the MCU (13) tightly and remove the screws (11), the washers (12) and the MCU (13).

(4) Remove the screw (5) and the washer (4).
(5) Hold the related MCU (8) tightly and remove the screws (3), the washers (2) and the MCU (8).

(3) Disconnect the electrical connectors:
(a) Release the spring latches (11).
(b) Disconnect the electrical connectors (1), (9) and (10).
(c) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(4) Remove the screw (5) and the washer (4).
(5) Hold the related MCU (8) tightly and remove the screws (3), the washers (2) and the MCU (8).
B. Removal of Configuration Module(s) 100HP1 and/or 100HP2
(1) Hold the configuration module (13) tightly, pull the fasteners (14) and remove the configuration module (13).
(2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.

(2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
B. Removal of Configuration Module(s) 101HP and/or 102HP
(1) Hold the configuration module (12) tightly and pull the fasteners (13).
(2) Remove the configuration module (12).
(3) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.

(2) Remove the configuration module (12).

(1) Push the two clamps (12) at the same time and remove the related configuration module (13) from the MCU (8).
(2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
