A. De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002)

B. Connect the aircraft to ground (Ref. AMM TASK 12-34-24-869-002).

C. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 6M (20 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position at the THS.
(2) Remove the THS trailing-edge access-panels (Ref. AMM TASK 55-13-11-000-001):
(a) For the left: 334CB and 334EB
(b) For the right: 344CB and 344EB.

WARNING: BE CAREFUL NOT TO CUT YOUR FINGERS. FLAKES OF NICKEL ARE SHARP.

(1) At each fitting use the procedure that follows to protect against corrosion:
(a) Use Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) to remove any contamination from the fitting.
(b) Remove any flakes or blisters, make sure that the you do not damage the base metal while you do this task.

NOTE: We recommend that you use a dental tool or a seal tool (non metallic) to remove the flakes and the blisters.

(c) Use a BRUSH - BRISTLED or an SPRAY - BOTTLE, PUMP TYPE (NON AEROSOL) to apply a continuous thin and smooth coat of Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Hard Film - (Material No.12ACB1) , to cover all the fitting ESPM 203330.

5. Close-up

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the THS trailing-edge access-panels (Ref. AMM TASK 55-13-11-400-001):
(a) For the left: 334CB and 334EB
(b) For the right: 344CB and 344EB.
(3) Disconnect the aircraft from the ground (Ref. AMM TASK 12-34-24-869-002).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
