A. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position.
(2) Open the FWD cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-003).
(3) Remove the additional center tanks No. 4 and No. 6 in zones 137 and 138, if installed (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-000-005).
(4) Remove the FWD cargo-compartment partition FR34 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-001).

B. De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

4. Procedure

A. Cleaning of All Wiring Installed in the Bay Behind FWD Cargo Compartment (Only Contaminated Wiring)
(1) Clean the wiring if there is dust, lint or hydraulic contamination ESPM 2055000.
(a) On the AC/DC feeder routes: 1G and 2G.
(b) On the AC/DC power-distribution routes: 1P and 2P.
(c) On the flight control routes: 7S and 8S.
(d) On the engine control routes: 1S and 2S.
(e) On the other routes: 1M and 2M.
(f) On the coaxial wiring routes: 2T and 2U.
(g) On the generator excitation routes: 1E and 2E.

5. Close-up
Subtask 24-92-00-410-146-A

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the additional center tanks No. 4 and No. 6 in zones 137 and 138, if removed (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-400-005).
(3) Install the FWD cargo-compartment partition FR34 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-001).
(4) Close the FWD cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-004).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
