Lightning Protection ModuleSubtask 24-22-51-010-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Get Access
(1) FOR [19XU1] (MODULE-LIGHTNING PROT, 1)
Make sure that the contactor 9XU1 is removed. (Ref. AMM TASK 24-22-55-000-001)
(2) FOR [19XU2] (MODULE-LIGHTNING PROT, 2)
Make sure that the contactor 9XU2 is removed.
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-22-55-000-001)
Subtask 24-22-51-010-051-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) FOR [19XU1] (MODULE-LIGHTNING PROT, 1)
Make sure that the contactor 9XU1 is removed. (Ref. AMM TASK 24-22-55-000-001)
(2) FOR [19XU2] (MODULE-LIGHTNING PROT, 2)
Make sure that the contactor 9XU2 is removed.

A. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the Third Occupant seat is, if necessary, removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-11-41-000-001).
(2) On the L lower side of the panel 120VU, make sure that the access door is removed.
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M (3 FT)-ADJUSTABLE is in position at the access door 121AL.
(4) Make sure that the access door 121AL is open.
Subtask 24-22-51-860-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the Third Occupant seat is, if necessary, removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-11-41-000-001).
(2) On the L lower side of the panel 120VU, make sure that the access door is removed.
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M (3 FT)-ADJUSTABLE is in position at the access door 121AL.
(4) Make sure that the access door 121AL is open.
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the external power connector is not connected to the aircraft EXT PWR receptable.
(2) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position on the access door 121AL to tell persons not to connect the external power connector to the aircraft EXT PWR receptacle.
(3) In the cockpit, on the ELEC panel 35VU, make sure that these pushbutton switches are released:
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the external power connector is not connected to the aircraft EXT PWR receptable.
(2) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position on the access door 121AL to tell persons not to connect the external power connector to the aircraft EXT PWR receptacle.
(3) In the cockpit, on the ELEC panel 35VU, make sure that these pushbutton switches are released:
- BAT 1, BAT 2,
- APU GEN,
- GEN 1, GEN 2,
- EXT PWR.
- 21VU (EMER ELEC PWR section),
- 25VU (APU section),
- 35VU (ELEC).
Subtask 24-22-51-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Lightning Protection Module
(1) Install the lightning protection module (3) on the three barrels (4) of the contactor base (5).
(2) Install the bonding lead (2) of the lightning protection module (3) with the screw (1) and then tighten.
(3) Do the electrical bonding (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
Subtask 24-22-51-420-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Install the lightning protection module (3) on the three barrels (4) of the contactor base (5).
(2) Install the bonding lead (2) of the lightning protection module (3) with the screw (1) and then tighten.
(3) Do the electrical bonding (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
A. Installation of the Lightning Protection Module
(1) Install the lightning protection module (3) on the module 30XN1 (30XN2).
(2) Install the screws (4) and the washers (5).
(3) TORQUE the screws (4) to between 0.81 and 0.73 m.daN (71.68 and 64.60 lbf.in ).
(4) Install the bonding lead (2) of the lightning protection module (3) with the screw (1) then tighten.
(5) Do the electrical bonding (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
5. Close-up(1) Install the lightning protection module (3) on the module 30XN1 (30XN2).
(2) Install the screws (4) and the washers (5).
(3) TORQUE the screws (4) to between 0.81 and 0.73 m.daN (71.68 and 64.60 lbf.in )
. (4) Install the bonding lead (2) of the lightning protection module (3) with the screw (1) then tighten.
(5) Do the electrical bonding (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).

A. Close Access
(1) FOR [19XU1] (MODULE-LIGHTNING PROT, 1)
Install the contactor 9XU1.
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-22-55-400-002).
(2) FOR [19XU2] (MODULE-LIGHTNING PROT, 2)
Install the contactor 9XU2
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-22-55-400-002).

Install the contactor 9XU1.

Install the contactor 9XU2

A. Close Access
(1) Close the access door 121AL.
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) On the L lower side of the panel 120VU, install the access door.
(4) If removed, install the third occupant seat (Ref. AMM TASK 25-11-41-400-001).
(1) Close the access door 121AL.
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) On the L lower side of the panel 120VU, install the access door.
(4) If removed, install the third occupant seat (Ref. AMM TASK 25-11-41-400-001).
