Subtask 24-22-55-010-050-A
Subtask 24-22-55-020-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
(a) Remove the six nuts (2) and washers (1).
1 Remove the three jumpers (3) from the contactor base and from the adjacent base.
(b) Remove the six nuts (8) and washers (9).
1 Remove the three jumpers (7) from the contactor base and from the adjacent base.
(c) Remove the four screws (6) and washers (5) from the contactor base.
(d) Remove the contactor base.
(2) FOR [9XU1] (GLC-1), [9XU2] (GLC-2)
(a) Remove the lightning protection module (Ref. AMM TASK 24-22-51-000-001).
(b) Remove the six nuts (10) and washers (11).
1 Remove the three jumpers (12) from the contactor base and from the adjacent base.
(c) Remove the three screws (18) and washers (19).
1 Remove the three electrical wires (20).
2 Remove the three nuts (21) and washers (22).
3 Remove the three electrical cables (23).
(d) Remove the three nuts (17) and washers (16).
1 Remove the three electrical cables (15).
(e) Remove the four screws (14) and washers (13) from the contactor base.
(f) Remove the contactor base.
Subtask 24-22-55-020-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
(2) Remove the six screws (8) and washers (7).
(a) Remove the three jumpers (6) from the generator 1(2) contactor-module (5) and from the adjacent module.
(3) Remove the three screws (11) and washers (12).
(a) Disconnect the six electrical cables (13) from the generator 1(2) contactor-module (5).
(4) Remove the three screws (14) and washers (15).
(a) Disconnect the three electrical wires (16).
(5) Remove the three nuts (1) and washers (2).
(a) Disconnect the three electrical cables (3) from the generator 1(2) contactor-module (5).
(6) Remove the eight screws (10) and washers (9).
(7) Remove the the generator 1(2) contactor-module (5).

Removal of the Contactors
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT NO AC OR DC POWER IS CONNECTED TO THE AIRCRAFT ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS.
THERE IS A RISK OF ELECTROCUTION IF THE AC OR DC POWER STAYS CONNECTED.

Subtask 24-22-55-010-050-A
A. Get Access
(1) Remove the Third Occupant seat (Ref. AMM TASK 25-11-41-000-001).
(2) On the left lower side of the panel 120VU, remove the access door (4).
(3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M (3 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position at the access door 121AL.
(4) Open the access door 121AL.
Subtask 24-22-55-860-051-A (1) Remove the Third Occupant seat (Ref. AMM TASK 25-11-41-000-001).
(2) On the left lower side of the panel 120VU, remove the access door (4).
(3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M (3 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position at the access door 121AL.
(4) Open the access door 121AL.
B. Safety Precautions
(1) Make sure that the external power connector is not connected to the aircraft EXT PWR receptacle.
(2) Put warning notice(s) in position on the access door 121AL to tell persons not to connect the external power connector to the aircraft EXT PWR receptacle.
(3) In the cockpit, on the ELEC panel 35VU, make sure that these pushbutton switches are released:
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the external power connector is not connected to the aircraft EXT PWR receptacle.
(2) Put warning notice(s) in position on the access door 121AL to tell persons not to connect the external power connector to the aircraft EXT PWR receptacle.
(3) In the cockpit, on the ELEC panel 35VU, make sure that these pushbutton switches are released:
- BAT 1, BAT 2,
- APU GEN,
- GEN 1, GEN 2,
- EXT PWR.
- 21VU (EMER ELEC PWR section),
- 25VU (APU section),
- 35VU (ELEC).

A. Removal of the Contactor
(2) Put CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connector (1) and the electrical receptacle (6).
(3) Loosen the captive screws (3).
Subtask 24-22-55-020-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL CAUTION:
REMOVE THE CONTACTOR ONLY AND NOT THE BASE OR THE MODULE WHERE THE WIRES ARE CONNECTED.
(1) Disconnect the electrical connector (1). (2) Put CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connector (1) and the electrical receptacle (6).
(3) Loosen the captive screws (3).
NOTE: Do not remove the captive screws (3) from the contactor (2).
(4) Remove the contactor (2) from the contactor base (5). CAUTION:
MAKE MATCH MARKS ON ALL THE ELECTRICAL WIRES BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THEM. INCORRECT CONNECTION OF WIRES WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
B. Removal of the Contactor Base NOTE: The removal of the base is necessary only if the base is damaged.
(1) FOR [11XU1] (BTC-1), [11XU2] (BTC-2)(a) Remove the six nuts (2) and washers (1).
1 Remove the three jumpers (3) from the contactor base and from the adjacent base.
(b) Remove the six nuts (8) and washers (9).
1 Remove the three jumpers (7) from the contactor base and from the adjacent base.
(c) Remove the four screws (6) and washers (5) from the contactor base.
(d) Remove the contactor base.
(2) FOR [9XU1] (GLC-1), [9XU2] (GLC-2)
(a) Remove the lightning protection module (Ref. AMM TASK 24-22-51-000-001).
(b) Remove the six nuts (10) and washers (11).
1 Remove the three jumpers (12) from the contactor base and from the adjacent base.
(c) Remove the three screws (18) and washers (19).
1 Remove the three electrical wires (20).
2 Remove the three nuts (21) and washers (22).
3 Remove the three electrical cables (23).
(d) Remove the three nuts (17) and washers (16).
1 Remove the three electrical cables (15).
(e) Remove the four screws (14) and washers (13) from the contactor base.
(f) Remove the contactor base.
C. Removal of the Contactor
(2) Put CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connector (6) and the electrical receptacle (1).
(3) Loosen the captive screws (3).
Subtask 24-22-55-020-051-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL CAUTION:
REMOVE THE CONTACTOR ONLY AND NOT THE BASE OR THE MODULE WHERE THE WIRES ARE CONNECTED.
(1) Disconnect the electrical connector (6). (2) Put CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connector (6) and the electrical receptacle (1).
(3) Loosen the captive screws (3).
NOTE: Do not remove the captive screws (3) from the contactor (2).
(4) Remove the contactor (2) from the generator 1(2) contactor-module (5). CAUTION:
MAKE MATCH MARKS ON ALL THE ELECTRICAL WIRES BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THEM. INCORRECT CONNECTION OF WIRES WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
D. Removal of the Generator 1(2) Contactor-Module NOTE: The removal of the generator 1(2) contactor-module is necessary only if the generator 1(2) contactor-module is damaged.
(1) Remove the lightning protection module (Ref. AMM TASK 24-22-51-000-001). (2) Remove the six screws (8) and washers (7).
(a) Remove the three jumpers (6) from the generator 1(2) contactor-module (5) and from the adjacent module.
(3) Remove the three screws (11) and washers (12).
(a) Disconnect the six electrical cables (13) from the generator 1(2) contactor-module (5).
(4) Remove the three screws (14) and washers (15).
(a) Disconnect the three electrical wires (16).
(5) Remove the three nuts (1) and washers (2).
(a) Disconnect the three electrical cables (3) from the generator 1(2) contactor-module (5).
(6) Remove the eight screws (10) and washers (9).
(7) Remove the the generator 1(2) contactor-module (5).
