A. Removal of the reading light

Reading Light ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Remove the bulb of the reading light.
(a) Remove the lens (3) from the reading light (6).
(b) Remove the bulb (4) from the reading light (6).
(2) Remove the reading light.
(a) Remove the section hose from one side of the mounting rail .
(b) Pull and lower the related Passenger Service/Information Unit (PSIU) (2).
(c) Disconnect the electrical connectors (5) from the reading light (6).
(d) Remove the spring ring (1) from the reading light (6).
(e) Remove the reading light (6) from the PSIU (2).

Subtask 23-73-64-020-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Removal of the reading light

Reading Light ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Remove the section hose (2) from one side of the mounting rail (1).
(2) Pull and lower the related Passenger Service Unit (PSU) (3).
(3) Put identification on all the electrical wires, before you disconnect them.
(4) Carefully pull the bracket (4) to unlock the electrical connector (5) from the reading light (6).
(5) Turn and disconnect the electrical connector (5) from the reading light (6).
(6) Remove the retainer ring (7) from the reading light (6).
(7) Remove the reading light (6) from the PSU (3).

Subtask 23-73-64-020-050-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Removal of the reading light

Reading Light ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Remove the section hose (2) from one side of the mounting rail (1).
(2) Pull and lower the related Passenger Service Unit (PSU) (3).
(3) Put identification on all the electrical wires, before you disconnect them.
(4) Disconnect the electrical connectors (4) from the reading light (6).
(5) Remove the attached ring (5) from the reading light (6).
(6) Remove the reading light (6) from the PSU (3).
(7) If necessary, carefully remove the PSU adapter (7) with a SCREWDRIVER - SMALL from the PSU (3).

NOTE: For the removal of the reading light, it is not usually necessary to remove the PSU adapter from the PSU.
