A. Replacement of the Cabin Assignment Module (115RH)
(1) On the Flight Attendant Panel (FAP), push the FAP Set-Up key.
(5) Push the quick-release button (3) carefully with a PIN - NON METALLIC to unlock the CAM (4) from the CAM slot (5).
(6) Pull the old CAM (4) carefully out of the CAM slot (5).
(7) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(8) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(9) Push the new CAM (4) carefully into the respective slot, the CAM slot (5), until it locks in position.
(11) Close the cover (2) and the quick-release fastener (1).
(12) On the FAP Set-Up page, touch the OK button.
Subtask 23-73-19-740-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the Flight Attendant Panel (FAP), push the FAP Set-Up key.
- The indicator light in the FAP Set-Up key comes on.
- The FAP Set-Up page shows.
NOTE: The IN SLOT status indication for CAM and OBRM always shows on the display.
The IN SLOT indication for I-PRAM is optional.
(2) Touch the REMOVE button. The IN SLOT indication for I-PRAM is optional.
- The message DO YOU REALLY WANT TO REMOVE THE CAM shows.
- The message with the steps that you must do to replace the CAM shows.
(5) Push the quick-release button (3) carefully with a PIN - NON METALLIC to unlock the CAM (4) from the CAM slot (5).
(6) Pull the old CAM (4) carefully out of the CAM slot (5).
(7) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(8) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(9) Push the new CAM (4) carefully into the respective slot, the CAM slot (5), until it locks in position.
NOTE: The I-PRAM, CAM and OBRM slots all have the same dimensions. Thus it is mandatory to push the memory card into the correct slot.
(10) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.(11) Close the cover (2) and the quick-release fastener (1).
(12) On the FAP Set-Up page, touch the OK button.
- The message INSTALLATION OF THE CAM WAS SUCCESSFUL shows.
- The CAM status indication shows the installed CAM part number.
B. Make sure that the required cabin layout is selected in the CAM
(Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-860-002).
